How in the world did the Patriots lose to that team?

* Phantom penalty.

I wouldn't give New Jersey much credit for that win.

I said it last week and I will say it again. Before the season, I predicted the Jets would go 5-11. I still feel confident with that prediction.

Forget records, the Jets may be the worst team in the NFL right now. They are certainly worse than the Texans who are likely to have the #1 pick in the draft.

That would be ideal. Have them finish just in the middle and loose out of the playoffs so they get nothing from the Draft.

Divisional games are kind of different. I don't expect to sweep the division or do it easily every year.

Personally, I love Rah! Rah!'s moxie today. I hope to God he is right. As long as the Jets have a head coach who doesn't even realize that they have an offense, they are doomed to be a joke.

I doubt the Jets win more than one more game which will spell the end of the Ryan error... I mean era. But I almost hope they sweep the rest of the games and end the season 9-7 and be doomed to another year of Rex.

I know. I'm beginning to worry.

I have a gut feeling Belichick let Wrecks beat the Patriots in the Jets "Super Bowl" in the hope's of gaining the guy a contract extension.

Now with Wrecks losing the "Mediocre Bowl" to the Fins - and in a big way - one has to think he might be on the hot seat again - though it's the GM who has to accept blame on picking Smith.

I think Wrecks best hope now is riding it out with Geno no matter how bad he is - if only to prove that his new GM doesn't have a monopoly on football wisdom (or in the case of the Jets - the exact opposite)

Offense is for wimps! Rex subscribes to the philosophy that if your defense, can hold the opponent to 20 points or less you are likely to win no matter what the offense does. Solid philosophy.

I heard he took them to the AFCCG twice a few years back. Even beat the Pats in their own house. Extend the man I say. Give him another 5 years to right the ship. He is, a\fter all, a defensive genius.
