Our biggest Ally.... The Wind! And it has arrived just in time.

Based on the couples' costume Giselle had Brady wear, wind is the least of Brady's problems when it comes to his balls.

Why? Because he went to a costume party with his wife. People make much too big of a deal about that.

Jeez, someone has no sense of humor. It was a joke.

No joking!!!

It seems like every time we say, "the wind is in our favor!" or "the snow will be in our favor!" it turns out not to be true. I just hope we play well and that the elements don't affect us.

yeah...famous last words...like just before the asteroid strike...

geez, Madge...it's getting a little dark out ain't it?...

I didn't know the wind blows only Denver's possessions..... Chill down kids, that wind can easily affect Brady's balls, and Ghost's kicks just as bad.

He'll be wearing thermal underwear.

I feel like our running game is better. Knowshon's ypc really isn't all that impressive. 4ypc sucks. Especially if they play the run like they did vs carolina. Worse weather the better for sure. And don't forget this

You're absolutely right. Manning is undefeated at Gillette . . .

Never said that.I just look at our beat up defense and upcoming offense.

What do you think is in that basket she's holding?

Huh? I believe our last 3 games in the snow were titans(59-0), bears(36-7), cardinals (47-7). It'd be awesome for us if it snowed.

Nah! I think the Pats have a shot of winning on a 70 degree day with zero wind. People are looking at the reputation of the Broncos offense rather than what their production has been. The Broncos offense has slowed down and over the last month worth of games the Pats offense has arguably been better than the Broncos offense.

The wind just helps the Pats. It is potentially a big factor if they take away the short game of the Broncos. Manning's history in the wind and cold makes it an issue to discuss.

People still look at this Broncos offense as the offense that was scoring over 35 points (and many times over 40 points) week in and week out like it did early in the season. That Broncos' offense has seem to have gone away. This Broncos offense has scored under 30 points in two of the last three games and over 35 points once in the last five games (and that tooks a fourth quarter meltdown wby RGIII and Kurt Cousins that resulted in 4 INTs by the Redskins to allow the Broncos to score 31 points in the fourth quarter after only scoring 14 the first three).
All this may be true but everyone seems to make out denver to be some chump team which will fold in the winds. We have the banged up defense. Our offnese is just coming together. Big advantage that we are at home . Sure, I will agree denver has not played well in the past few weeks since the jags game but how consistent have the pats been ?.Inspite of the calls not going our way we have been in a dogfight everytime almost. We put up only 20pts vs CAR inspite of moving the up and down the field due to our own mistakes Its a young team which is still learning the ropes so what is to say they wont be inconsistent again. If this was last yr's offense, I would give us the edge.
I hope you all are right but Iam not ready to dismiss denver the football team .I hate that team and also think they are a tad overrated but that offensive scheme and execution is very good. Just my opinion.

Stay warm, everyone who's going to the game. Low 20's plus windchill is no joke if you're boozed up - so avoid hypothermia and frostbite by making lots of noise please

First, I never said the Broncos are a chump team. I wouldn't be surprised if they came in here and won and even won big tonight. I am just not afraid of them like a lot of people are and I am not in awe of their offense that started out otherworldly, but has come down to a very good offense now.

Second, the Pats' offense has only beaten themselves for the most part since the second half of the Miami game. Yes, the Pats only scored 20 vs. the Panthers, but it was mostly because of the Pats shooting themselves in the foot against one of the best defenses in football than the Panthers stopping them.

Reporting live from Gillette Stadium, Sal Paoloantonio says he's "never seen it this windy here." Wind chill factor has current temp at 5º.

Brrr.

Its cold out there today....

Noodle arm in full effect

Brady throws tight spirals that are less affected by the wind than Manning's wobbly touch passes. It is simple physics.

If I'm Kraft & BB, I say this, "Talib, you equal Ty Law's performance against Peyton in our win, here's you big contract extension"

Ty law did that in a playoff game of a championship season.

Screams of agony from hypothermic fans should carry well in cold but might be drowned out by the wind. Try not screaming or moaning when the Pats have the ball.

If it stays like it is right now then it is a big advantage for the Patriots because Brady can throw through the wind and has done it on many occasions. Manning has little experience with strong wind and his arm is the weakest of any starting QB in football, and probably the weaKest of any QB period. He still has exceptional touch and accuracy and can throw receivers open as well as anybody because of those attributes, but he has absolutely nothing on those throws, and unless he has been hiding his arm strength on purpose he is going to have a terrible time dealing with the wind.

On the other hand there is still a long time before the game and the wind could die off considerably, in which case it will just be a cold night, and Manning can handle the cold to some degree.

My prediction, Manning has 3 picks tonight, Patriots win.
