In the weather thread from a broncos fan. Mannings post season #s are every bit as good as Bradys? Tim Brady? Tony Brady?

Lol, that's an ignorant/ dumb fan. Isn't it funny manning always gets a pass and Tom doesn't??

Well, young inexperienced players like Mankins will just have to learn on the fly. If he was a seasoned vet, I am sure he wouldn't have gotten that personal foul.

Sorry, it was just a game where things didn't go the Pats' way. They have them every year. It had nothing to do with youth and inexperience. It was just one of those games. I am not expecting a lot of what happened on Monday night to be a trend.

The Broncos are also coming off a very physical Sunday night game against a division opponent who they are battling for the division and HFA and coming across country to play in harsh weather conditions which they are not accustom to (the cold in Colorado is nothing like here). Plus, they have to turn around after tonight and prepare to go back to KC to play that team again which the game could be for the division and HFA. Both teams tonight have a lot to overcome. The Broncos are just as likely for a letdown.

No offense, but you have seemed to resigned yourself to the Pats losing tonight and refuse to accept any reasoning why you may be wrong.

Yes. I give them a very slim chance to win tonite and main concern is the completed depleted defense. I hope Iam wrong again but I also respect that offense especially vs our defense and dont want to dismiss them because of their recent play . If you say broncos have a letdown then thats good . We shall see what happens.

Well..no one points this out in any of his losses that his defense other than 41-0 game actually kept them in the game. Its the offense which messed up. But people like to ignore it. Its always something else with peyton.
Even with this manning brady rivarly, people talk a lot as this is a great rivarly because brady has 3 and manning 1 ring. Reverse the QBs and the teams and no one will stick up for brady having a bad defense . Peyton would be the greatest of all time .(People even say that now!). The manning media management and how he and his family controls the media perception is amazing.

So not many FG attempts will be taking place tonight. This could hurt the pats D as manning will be on the field for 1 more play rather then say a 45 yard FG. But hopefully not

So we are saying we are the better offense than denver right now ?I hope you are right. In my opinion we are not there yet.

Well that's not actually what I said it what I was responding to. I was responding to your claim that our offense was not good Monday. Better than Denver? Time will tell. I know we have a better defense than Denver thought

How would you figure taking away the ability of the other team to kick a field goal would be bad fur the defense?

The run defense better step up their game and shut down Moreno. He's good but he's not THAT good.

No reason to allow a guy like that to run over the defense tonight. Stopping him will make life easier defending against #18.

Wind has picked up a great amount here at my house

What's your criteria for determining that? For me it's W-L, and in weathers 20 degrees and below, he is undefeated, and in other cold weather games, including playoffs, he is 16-1, so that's hardly struggling.

I wrote the "last few years."

I'm talking about both of the last AFCCGs.

Foxboro in December the last few seasons has been balmy. There haven't been many cold weather games for the Patriots.

But we also had a very predictable offense. We now have Dobson and thompkins to add that final dimension for the offense.

The bottom line is that in ALL cold weather games that Brady has been in, he is 16-1. That's not struggling.

If your intention was to say that the past few years have been "balmy," that's your prerogative. However to characterize Brady as "struggling lately" in cold weather is completely erroneous.

I have never seen Brady have a bad day because of the elements. His numbers may not be what they would be inside or in great weather but he has always shown the ability to cope with bad weather, Manning hasn't, in fact on those rare occasions when he faces bad weather he has always looked as if the conditions were causing problems for him. However tonight should be a really good test case either way. it will be a cold weather game and the wind could be a factor.

this wind is bad....i don't know how manning or brady are going to pass deep in this. Short passes. Crapy punts...crapy FGs...we will have it all

Brady passed well in a blizzard in Chicago where the snow was snowing sideways a few years back. I think he can still do it. At least he will have a much better chance than manning.

Holy cow, what part of "lately" don't you understand?

He's been great over his career.

My question is when has he struggled lately? Proof? Ravens last year was with a depleted offense. Brady was fine that game, his receivers just sucked that game.

Sounds like fun!

today should be a testament to how well manning is in weather and if Brady can play like he has in crappy weather.

Mike Petraglia @Trags

Manning, wearing no pads, sweat suit, just tried simple 8-yard out pattern from the left hash to the right sideline, the ball never made it

uh oh manning

He wears the T1 First Wave a favorite of some athletes.
Matt Cassel and a few other Patriot players have worn them also.
