What is your opinion of the Patriots medical staff?

Re: Re: What is your opinion of the Patriots medical staff?

Wait,so your argument is that the surgeon did a bad job and thats why it broke the second time?
And your argument is that its the surgeons fault that the arm became infected?

Hernandez shot Lloyd because Hernandez shot Lloyd and the facts are obvious. Gronks injury being caused by the doctor has never been suggested anywhere that I have seen until you just did.

You seem to be confused that facts and you making something up and saying IF are the same thing.

It is my position that there is a possibility that Wilfork had a preexisting injury that contributed to his Achilles tearing and that surgical error could have contributed to the rebreak and infection.

If you disagree that is fine but you have no more facts for your belief than I do mine, so just move along.

he hasnt been cleared by a non patriot doctor yet, no big deal here, this isnt derek rose sitting out a whole season because hes mentally not ready after all the docs cleared him

So you are asking people to draw a conclusion based on the possibility of something you do not know happened or not?
Just a bizarre approach IMO.

People can draw whatever conclusion they’d like, just as I can conclude however I’d like, social media is built around opinions, speculation, etc. if there was only one answer or opinion to everything this board would not be relevant we could all just read andyjohnson.com and say well that Andy hit the nail on the head again and move on with are days.

I don’t know why everything has to turn into a pissing match honestly, we all say things in here sometimes you you’ll agree, sometimes you won’t so say your piece and move on, stop beating the dead horse its poignant.

Wasn't Brady operated on by a west coast dr.? and still he got an infection and his healing was slowed? I don't think his problems can be blamed on Boston doctors.

I am not blaming it on Boston doctors I am blaming it on the Patriots medical staff, whether they did the actual surgery or not they were involved in the process.

Remember when there were threads blaming the strength and conditioning coaches every time there was an injury???

Guess it is time to move on to bigger fish.... the Wilfork contention is laughable.

So what are we doing here, leaving everything up to god? If you’re employed by the Patriots in any way are you not to be held accountable for anything? If so let’s notify the Bristol County courts so they can dismiss the charges against Hernandez. If a player requires 4 surgeries on the same body part in less than a year are you telling me that questioning the medical staff is unreasonable? Who should we be questioning as fans Daryl? The best player not named Brady on are offense fractured his arm on November 18th 2012, we were given a timeline of 4-6 weeks to recover, it is now October 13th 2013 and this arm injury is still keeping him off the field, but the medical staff should be questioned? Really!

Laughable would be ignoring the facts – Wilfork missed the final 2 preseason games, Wilfork struggled in weeks 1, 2 and 3, media members speculated Wilfork was playing through an ailment, Wilfork tears his Achilles tendon on a non-contact play. I may not be able to make my case with this evidence but there is certainly enough probable cause to consider it.

This belief that everyone employed by the Patriots is flawless and walks around with a halo on is preposterous, we employed a murderer 4 years, so it is possible that we may have not hired the best doctor for the job too. I love the Patriots and there is no team I support more in any sport, but that doesn’t mean that I am going to pretend everything is roses and butterflies.

It is all conjecture and based on my belief is better than your belief...

You do not have any facts to support your contention, so nobody is right if everyone is wrong...

You can have all the positions you want, but in reality it does not matter...

It is laughable because for some reason you think you have some inside information... the reality is we as fans do not know all that much.

I do not claim or think I have inside information, I do see the potential that a preexisting injury contributed to the eventual tearing of Wilfork's Achilles' tendon. I do not and likely will not ever have the evidence to prove it, but I want to say I am not speaking in hindsight 20/20 I posted in one of the post game threads after week 2 verse the Jets that I did not think having Wilfork on the field with whatever ailment he was playing through was a good idea and it could have a catastrophic result. I said this because Wilfork is one of my favorite NFL players to ever step on a field, I have watched him very closely over the years and based on what I saw in weeks 1, 2 and the first half or week 3 he was significantly hindered by something that appeared to be in his lower body. Whether that was the Achilles from the get or another injury that his compensating for put additional pressure on the Achilles I do not know but it is my belief that whatever it was contributed on some level to this outcome, and it is my belief that Wilfork did not need to be on the field in weeks 1-4 if less than 100%.

That would be a great rant if I was claiming to be right about something.
You are asking if there is an issue with the medical staff based upon the possibility that they knew something you don't know whether they were aware or not, and that they were negligent about it.
In other words, you are asking people to respond to a question such as:
I don't know what happened, but if what happened was negligent were they negligent.
I am simply saying you are assuming facts into the argument that you have no shred of evidence of and then getting angry because you are saying your argument is good because you are only saying if every fact you made up were true.
Kind of like me starting a thread and saying If Brady6 were best friends with Aaron Hernandez and convinced him to commit his crimes is Brady6 a bad guy and then me ignoring any comments about whether you even knew him and saying I was only talking about if you did, and there is a possibility of that.
Get it?
I don’t know why everything has to turn into a pissing match honestly, we all say things in here sometimes you you’ll agree, sometimes you won’t so say your piece and move on, stop beating the dead horse its poignant.
Its a pissing match because you are making it one. I gave my opinion in repsonse to yours and YOU wont let it be. You seem to want to post an opinion and then dictate what responses and opinions are allowed.

It is my position that there is a possibility that Wilfork had a preexisting injury that contributed to his Achilles tearing and that surgical error could have contributed to the rebreak and infection.

And it is my position that you have absolutely no justification to make these claims, and they, therefore are irrelevant in the context you are using them, which is to denigrate the medical staff based upon some phony belief they are real.

If you disagree that is fine but you have no more facts for your belief than I do mine, so just move along.
The difference is you are using these made up 'facts' as proof of your argument.
I am saying they are irrelevant to the discussion becuase they are simply wild guesses. Do you seriously think you thinking there is a possibility that it may have happened but you have no idea, makes a compelling argument?

The truth is I have total facts to support my belief, which is that those 2 points have no place in a discussion about the quality of the medical staff because no one knows whether they are right and part of the discussion or wrong and therefore have nothing to do with it.

In other words, your argument is akin to me saying:
What is everyones opinion of Brady6s girlfriend, based upon the fact that we don't know if she caused the fire in his neighborhood last month, or is the unibombers assistant.
Since I have no way of knowing that isn't true, then those facts must be considered in the analysis. Get it yet?

OK we will have to disagree. Have a good night buddy!
