But unlike the pats , i dont their defense has improved this yr in spite of being a problem in the past yrs. The injuries havent helped but dont know if it would be enough to beat out NO or even an improved pathers at this time. They have to hope 2 of the 3 AFC North contenders crash else they have shot.
Asante went to the Deion Sanders school of tackling. We as Pats fans know that all too well.Is it me or did Asante just practically watch that dude go into the end zone?
I absolutely agree that the defense has taken a step back. Not having Grimes, and not having a pass rush, has made the team weaker against the pass. I just think that a healthy offense would have been able to overcome some of that.
I just tuned in and cant believe my eyes. The Jets up 17-7? How is this humanly possible?
SVN, I agree that a new GM usually wants to install his own handpicked coach, but don't underestimate Woody Johnson's fondness for Ryan.Well, they have nothng to lose especially ryan. he knows his job is most likely gone so he is going to pull out all the stops. Mike smith might be the worser of the two coaches on the field tonite.

And, you do know that Ryan does have a winning record as a HC? My 34-10 Falcon pick's not looking good but it's still early. Very early. Ryan will get rolling against that suspect secondary.
