I've never been sold on Atlanta. Smith is not a good coach and they've always seemed soft.

Well, they have nothng to lose especially ryan. he knows his job is most likely gone so he is going to pull out all the stops. Mike smith might be the worser of the two coaches on the field tonite.

Like the Patriots, they failed to get better backups in areas where they should have known better. Like the Patriots, they should get better as the season goes along.

The difference is that they're playing in the deeper conference. Well, that and they let Grimes get away in the offseason.

Well, the win last week from the Pats isn't looking as impressive at least on the offensive side. The Falcons' defense is crap with all the injuries.

Yes, I meant as of now. But unlike the pats , i dont their defense has improved this yr in spite of being a problem in the past yrs. The injuries havent helped but dont know if it would be enough to beat out NO or even an improved pathers at this time. They have to hope 2 of the 3 AFC North contenders crash else they have shot.
