Not sure if the Patriots even want Seymour, but Borges has no true knowledge of the situation either way.
That "source" and the media reporting somehow fail to note that the Patriots never asked.
LOL, it's true. Only Borges, who thought Seymour was the worst pick BB ever made, asked him if he wanted to come back. Not the team. As I said elsewhere, too much water under the bridge, on both sides.
Of course, there’s also the possibility the Patriots would have the same reaction.

1.) How do you know this?
2.) Why is it at all relevant to the question of whether Seymour would want to return, if asked?
I'd like to see them bring back AJ Francis and see if we can get anything out of him or Jones. Vellano has flashed a few times. These all sound like better options than Seymour.

Good point.
Today is Ron Borges' hypocracy day.
Didn't it go something like this?:
"“On a day when they could have had impact players David Terrell or Koren Robinson..they took Georgia defensive tackle Richard Seymour, who had 1 sacks last season in the pass-happy SEC and is too tall to play tackle at 6-6 and too slow to play defensive end. This genius move was followed by trading out of a spot where they could have gotten the last decent receiver in Robert Ferguson and settled for tackle Matt Light, who will not help any time soon.”
you suggesting the patriots also reached to seymour ?

Not at all. I'm not claiming to know that they didn't, though, which is what Shmessy's post was doing,
while also ignoring any possibility they might ask now that circumstances have changed, and that Seymour's position on the idea would then, obviously, matter.
