A Healthy Gronk along with Amendola will give Defenses fits!

Yes, a healthy Gronk and a healthy Amendola will give defense the same fits as last year's defenses had with gronk and wes.

I want to see Gronk out there with Sudfeld at the same time!

Not sure what i expect...hopefully he will return to being the best TE in the game

I expect him to play this week. I expect them to use him a bit sparingly over the next week or two. I expect him to be close to 100% by midseason. I still expect him to have over 1,000 yards and over 10 TDs.

Can we have a poll to take away thread starter rights from some users?

How many threads with the underlying point being either our offense sucks, we suck, BB is a crappy GM etc from the same two or three posters do we need?

I vote that this thread sucks and I hope the Pats continue to win despite the OP's desire to see them fail and it causes his head to explode.

Assume Dobson remembers how to catch and Vereen comes back, and we are probably better than last year by the end of the season.

Doesnt history say that when BB brings an injured player back there usually is no breaking in period, its all at once?

I expect no matter what happens, half this board will wail and moan about something else anyway...after all, it's all bad bad bad, the Patriots sukk and Andy Dalton is some kind of freakin' great QB because an idiot from Ice Pick In The Forehead fantasy news says so...

I think we can win the Bucs the same way we did over Jets, struggling a lot, without Gronk.

So one extra week of training will give him almost 1 month since he came back, it's not the best case scenario but it's enough time for him to put some bulk and get ready for week 4 or 5

They have had break in periods for players. It isn't as common as other teams, but they do it. He actually does it a lot with RBs, but that is partly because he likes to mix it up with RBs anyway.

I expect him to not block on a lot of running downs. I would expect him to be rotated in out a little more liberally than he typically is. It won't be dramatic, but he will be eased back into it.

Let's hope that he can come back for the week 4 game at Atlanta next Sunday night.

That one is going to be a tough game.

In a best case scenario he comes back now for some knocking rust off reps, and is fully ready for next Sunday.

Gronk, when healthy, will again be Gronk.

My fear is that bruising, do-everything TEs are commonly injury-prone, perhaps due to the violence of their position.

Whether Gronkowski makes it to Canton or not is mainly about durability.

as demonstrated league wide the past three or four years...just look at the number of #1 TE's sidelined for part or all of the season. Doesn't matter though...only the Pats sukk and only Gronk will never be healed.

It's all bad...real bad...and if you don't believe it, just wait until the Pats lose a game...they'll all be here telling you about it...and themselves

When Gronk is on the field he makes every receiver on it a better player and these rookies will only be aided by his presence.

Gronk will be just fine as long as he doesn't take any big hits.....and there is no Bernard Pollard on the regular season schedule (titans) which only helps

Gronkowski making it to Canton will depend on durability AND who is throwing him the ball....I assume Gronkowski will only have Brady as his QB for about 3 more years and who knows how or who the next QB will be and will he be in sync with him like he is with Tommy.

I don't expect anything from him at this point. It's not because I don't believe in Gronk, but we haven't had him at full strength for so long I have pretty much forgotten what he brings to this team.

I'll take anything better than HooHoo, even if it isn't close to 2011 Gronk.
