Tebow released

I disagree. As I wrote earlier, remember Doug Flutie. He was persona non grata to the NFL, then spent 6-7 years tearing up the CFL and got a second chance. I can't imagine Tim Tebow throwing in the towel.

Flutie could read defenses and make accurate throws. Tebow can't do that. I don't think he'd want to go there anyway nor would they want to sign s guy who can't throw. It's a throwing league.

Totally wrong comparison. Doug was shunned from the NFL because he was short. Doug proved everyone wrong because he could throw and read a defense. Tim would be completely out of his realm in the CFL, it is a passing league. Even more so than the NFL.

Many including ex NFL GM Charlie Casserly, have said he can't go to the CFL. I think that is what he needs. Although, as Kurt Warner testified, the Arena League required that he speed up the pace of his play, and let him succeed in the NFL.

Joe Kapp was a worse passer BY FAR, and he won Grey Cups and made a Superbowl appearance when Bud Grant brought him to the NFL with the Vikings. Watching him throw jump shot puts, as "passes" at Harvard Stadium, for the Pats, I can attest to that.
What year was that? 1960? I think things have changed a bit. I think tebow would do worse in the cfl than the NFL.

He certainly wasn't even close to being good enough to earn a roster spot here but there were improvements in his mechanics and footwork from when I last seen him. Maybe a year out of the game working with the right coach might work for him. There is certainly no questioning his desire and dedication, he is known to be an extremely hard worker.

Ya know what I am really hoping happens so that I can continue to come here for entertainment?

Tebow gets the Ross Ventrone treatment ALL season. Signed and cut 12 times over the next 17 weeks!

Ahhhh, the fun!

Maybe Tim was born at the wrong time. In 1969 Joe Kapp had a completion percentage of 50.6, threw for 1726 yards and threw 19 td's to 13 ints while leading the Vikings to a 12-2 record. Joe rushed for a 104 yards with a 4.7 average. Tebow would have killed it in 1969.

Another sad little hater. Why is this place so infested with your type? And btw he is not practice squad eligible but of course you would not know that because its not part of being a hater!

I just love how people just assume he would do well in the CFL, especially those that probably have never seen a CFL game in their lives (as I watch the Bombers-roughriders game). His accuracy and slow decision-making issues would kill him in the CFL (wider field, pre-snap motion, extra defender). He is a poor comparison to Doug Flutie, who was a very competent passer albeit short.

I'll try this in English this time since you didn't comprehend my last comment.

I said nothing about practive squad, did I? Of course, you would not know that because it is part of being a Tebow-hater message board vigilante. A team can sign and cut a player all they want if he is unsigned by another team. Of course, you would not know that for some reason I cannot fathom.

I WANTED Tebow to make the team. I enjoy reading the back and forth Tebow vitriol. I WANT Tebow to get re-signed. Sad little hater? What in the blue hell are you talking about?

Resigned? By who? BTW your username is so freaking appropriate.

In either context, it's a winner.

No, I mean half the players on this team aren't even good. So it makes no sense to say Tebow isn't worth a roster spot, since he has a lot of talent to develop.

The problem with him is that he's raw, but the Pats could've fix that by having him as a backup for sometime. I mean he already should some improvement when throwing with zip.

I know it, with this roster they are looking at yet another 4-12 season and no play-offs.

I really don't get why they cut him, he's a project QB and he wasn't given the requisite 12 years to develop.

I wonder what someone of those zealots are doing while tebow is inbetween teams..

I'm sure spending years in the CFL would help him if one of them wants him, but the comparisons to Flutie aren't accurate. Flutie had it all except the size. He could make all the throws, could learn a playbook, run an offense, etc., all the things that Tebow isn't able to do now, but was considered too small to play in the NFL.

It's the first definition, since you are curious. However, it does not have to be attached to the anal hair of just an animal, but that is nitpicking.

Were I foolish or inept, however, I would not know the difference between resign and re-sign. Nor would I know "by whom" someone may be signed or re-signed. Although, were Belichick ever to resign, I think McDaniels would definitely re-sign Tebow.

Agreed, he'd do worse in the CFL than the NFL. I don't know much about Arena football, but from Kurt Warner's comments, its upbeat tempo helps quarterbacks adjust to the speed of the NFL. I'd head to an Arena team in Florida if I were Tebow.

Those who want to write off Tim Tebow, should watch a football life: Kurt Warner. Kurt Played football in college and went undrafted in 1994 NFL Draft. He was invited to try out for the Green Bay Packer training Camp in 1995. He was signed to Green Bay Packers training camp and was released right before the football season began. Warner at the time was told that he had enormous potential, but was not at all ready to be an NFL QB.

Well at that time in 1995 no NFL team would give him a chance, so he joined the AFL and played for the IOWA Barnstormers. He did well playing in the AFL for a few years. In 1998 he was signed by the NFL team the ST. Louis Rams and took the NFL by storm till his retirement from the NFL in 2010

He also happened to be a Christian football Player. Anyways Kurt Warner's story is very inspiring.
