Last years roster players you'd expect to be cut...

If only, if only there was a resource to answer these cap questions

Miguel's UNOFFICIAL 2013 Patriots Salary Cap Information Page

In an effort to get the answer myself, I looked at Miguel's cap page, but couldn't reconcile the cap savings of $768,000 with Mesko's salary and prorated bonus. Jason's cap page has the savings at $1.3 million (hate to rely on a Jets fan, but he's earned some respect too). After subtracting Allen's $400,000 salary, you get either $300,000 or you get $900,000 depending upon what numbers you rely on.

I'm sure there is an answer for this, but I can see how there would be two numbers floating around, both using reliable sources.

This is basically the problem, and why I stated that Nick Underhill's numbers may/may not be off. It depends on how you look at it, and I'm far from knowing enough about it to judge it on my own.

There are 2 different numbers being thrown around, 300k and 900k. We don't really know what the "real" savings is--and frankly I honestly don't care that much.

If Allen is the punter of the future then it will be more due to the facts that Mesko is a free agent after this season and the aspect that Allen performed well enough; not really the cap savings of this year.

Definition of HYPOCRITE

Hypocrite - Definition and More from the Free Merriam-Webster Dictionary

You've got no proof of the first definition, and you're completely wrong on the second.

This will be my last comment on this in this thread, and I apologize for being one (of many) to derail the thread. That said, Deus, you might want to look at definition number 1 again:

"1: a person who puts on a false appearance of virtue or religion"

So, CC wants him cut because he's a bad guy (and apparently the only "sinner" on the team), BUT, if he makes the team, CC will cheer for him. How shallow is virtue, or are ethics, if that's the determination? False appearance of religion ("And the Lord sayeth unto them, ye sins shall be forgiven if thee weareth thine Flying Elvis")? Yeah, I'd say that's about as clear an example as you're likely to see on a football board.

Please notice that I wasn't the first to shoot back at CC - not even close. And my response was measured compared to many of the others. He got what he wanted; he wanted to rile. He wanted to poke those who oppress him and his beloved (in his mind).

I've been rooting for Tebow and think he's a good guy, and I've been chuckling at all of those doomsayers warning us of Tebow fans overwhelming Gillette...but this kind of passive-aggressive victimhood is really, like, yuck.

I suddenly find myself hoping for Tebow to just go away.

And that's my last word, and again with apologies to the original poster and his fine thread.

Don't understand why you think this has anything to do with Tebow or his fans.

Again, you obviously don't know what the word means, even after I posted it for you, and using that as an excuse for your Anti-Tebow position is about as pathetic as it gets.
