I think it is a little harsh to say Armstead and Harrison's stock is down. I know whole "from the tub" saying but Armstead and Harrison are both coming back from surgeries. If their stock is down so is Gronk's.

Also Ridley's stock being down is news to me. I know he fumbled a couple of times going up against the defense (which I thought one of them was an exchange from Mallet, maybe i'm wrong) in one of the first practices. But haven't heard anything since.

Ridley fumbled 3 times in one practice, 2 times in another.

Gronkowski stock reflected an injury a week ago so that's why it's even, both of the players you've mentioned were expected to be in camp.

Surprising to here they're playing Benard who is listed at 6'2 256 pounds at defensive tackle.

To any camp goers does that height/weight appear accurate? He was listed at 6'4 270 pounds according to his pre-draft scouting report in 2009.

I think Howe said it was part of the "NASCAR" package that they used a few times last year where Cunningham would line up inside utilizing their speed to mismatch against a guard.

They used it all the time last year, it wasn't a NASCAR front it was just using Cunningham or Francis as the 3Tech DT but both of them were bigger players than 6'2 256 pounds last season.

Agreed they used it all the time last yr, NASCAR was the best I could come up with to describe it this morning haha, #hangover. Cunningham is listed at 6`3" and 252...Francis is listed at 270. Could Benard knock Cunningham off the roster?

Oh it's all good brother.

As far as the weights go Cunningham was supposedly player in the 270-280 range last season, some even suggested higher. It's also more about Benard being painted as a finesse player in reports, and Cunningham and Francis being power players.
