I read 3 pages, so forgive me if someone said what I'm going to say.

1) Where the heck were you guys six years ago when I first saw this? Seriously, U. of Florida, European fan just started watching American football, and I'm only 14 so when I was 8 I missed this are all good answers.

2) I'm glad WBZ supposedly fired him, but why did it take them 6 FRICKEN YEARS? (WBZ is referenced in the thread title, but not mentioned in the first three pages.)

Apologies in advance if I'm misunderstanding what your point, but the animosity towards DeOssie only started in February of 2012, just before the Super Bowl.

If 6 years ago refers to the first Patriots-Giants SB, no one had any issues with DeOssie then. This disproves the media's defense of his more recent actions: "What's he supposed to do? Not root for his son's team?" No one said that and no one had a problem with him wanting the Giants to win or being happy they won in early 2008.

It was his comments before the second Patriots-Giants SB that people had an issue with.
