I'll admit that DEN looks to be a pretty decent offense, especially if they can manage to utilize Bell's (new rookie RB) talents on any level.

The addition of Welker will be an interesting aspect.

That said, it's their defense that was clearly their biggest weakness that we exploited last season, and we've seen the "unstoppable" Manning offense fail before.

Should be an excellent matchup.

They would probably use a combination coverage on Welker. Chuck him at the line with a LB or Safety and then have the nickel Corner pick him up or jump his route. Welker's game is based on timing and reading the defense. If you can make Welker misread the defense or throw off the timing, he is useless.

A few things:

• During this offseason, I have heard many in the media question Brady's ability to continue to perform at an elite level because of his age. I have not heard anyone pose the same question about Manning yet he is a year older and played three years longer. Plus, he had major neck surgery two years ago. I wouldn't bet either hit the age wall, but I don't get the reason why Brady's age is an issue and not an older Manning's age.
• People only focus on the addition of Welker when looking at the Broncos and not the players lost. Dummerville is a big loss in the pass rush. I think he will be a bigger loss than Welker was an addition. Willis MacGahee leaving could be a big blow to the running game.
• The Broncos are the AFC are considered AFC favorites because the AFC sucks and not because they are the best team IMHO. Teams like the Pats and Ravens have too many questions to be considered the AFC favorites. That said, I think the AFC is wide open and anyone could win it. I think Denver would not be in the top 3 in the NFC.
• I think the Broncos offense really needs to cure their inconsistencies before you can label them unstoppable. If you watched last year especially against good teams, the Broncos' offense would start games flat and not turn it on until the second half. Unstoppable offenses need to be able to turn it on from the first possession.
• I still think the Broncos are vastly overrated. Yes, they won their last 11 games, but they played some of the worst teams in the league including KC (twice), Cleveland, New Orleans, Carolina, San Diego (twice), and Tampa. They are definitely a very good team, but I think they benefitted from a cupcake schedule last year. Their schedule looks tougher this year. It will be interesting to see if they can be as good this year.

Montee Ball will fit in that offense like a glove. As for whether or not it will be unstoppable, we'll see. The 2007 Patriots offense wasn't unstoppable. I don't think the 2013 Broncos, with a quarterback that has neck issues and throws wobblers when it gets cold out, will be either.

Not very interesting. Welker will have his way with Arrington. That's fine. It's Decker and Thomas that our defense has to stop. Control them, get after Manning up the A and B gaps, and Denver will become very beatable.

On paper, they look pretty good, I admit. They'll eat the easy teams for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

They've got a lot of weapons - honestly, I think the Pats should have paid Welker, as much to keep him on the team as to keep him away from Manning.
