A tip from a longtime poster. When I start beclowning myself, as oft happens, I just stop posting for a while. Hole doesn't get any deeper.
Agreed.
And there's no reason to be posting "theories." Frankly, there are like 6 or 7 "facts" out there, and trying to connect all the dots is crazy at this point. Not to mention those "facts" may not actually be facts, or could have innocent explanations. I know playing CSI detectives is fun, but just let it go.
He hangs out at the sleaze clubs, is associated with criminals. Lloyd was no angel and the guy he allegedly shot in the face? Not a quality guy whether AH shot him or not.
What drugs? No one in the media or from the authorities have mentioned drugs. All this drug talk (about a deal gone bad) is speculation from people on the internet. People assuming because of Hernandez background that if someone was killed it was over drugs and gangs.
Look at Schefter, he cited ABC news that an arrest was imminent for Hernandez.
Adam Schefter ?@AdamSchefter 21 Jun
Update: Police have prepared arrest warrant for Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez for obstruction of justice, per ABC News.
I was one of the posters who said a drug deal was possible in Lloyd's case, mainly due to the fact that he, by what has been reported, willingly went to an industrial park after hours and was killed there. Not because he was young and black, I'm a year younger than him and we share the same ethnicity.
Not saying that its a fact he could've been lured there in some manner, but if he willingly went there at say 2am the location and time fit the profile of a POSSIBLE drug deal. This is all wildly speculative and opinionated and there is nothing wrong with having an opinion as long as you realize that no one here knows ***** about what actually happened.
If he's completely innocent of any wrong doing (and I hope he is) he and his attorney's would be best to have proclaimed his innocence. If I was in his situation and I was innocent I would tell the world I was innocent. Not sit there in silence. He doesn't have to do a press conference and take questions, but if he is innocent I don't know what harm can come from releasing a statement like: "I had no part in the murder of Mr. Lloyd or in any sort of cover up. I send Mr. Lloyd's family my prayers....". How could that hurt him if he is innocent?
My guess is the victim probably let it be known that he was dating Hernandez's girlfriend's sister and it might also be some extortion angle.
Why else would the girlfriend/aunt disappear and authorities think she "was in danger".
Best guess is they believe Hernandez knows who he was visiting.
I've wanted to wait a few days before jumping in here and giving my opinion, but as this gets dragged on and on I really find it hard to see him putting on a Patriots uniform again.

We all know what the Patriot name and brand means to Kraft and he must be one pissed off man. All over every sports shows and sites there are stories about "the Patriots losing their way". All over the general news there are headlines "New England Patriots player linked to murder investigation". This is doing a lot of damage to the brand. Then there's the whole other situation in Florida. Even if he is totally innocent in the Boston murder the attention will then go to the Florida case. Very hard to see Kraft wanting any part of Hernandez being on his team in the future.
Regardless, he currently owes nothing to anyone. What could happen is speculation.
I just dont think he is as bad a guy as you are making him out to be. He is certainly a moron and hangs around with losers. But that is a far cry from murdering someone, or trying to cover it up which we still need details of.
I pray he is innocent which I have always suspected. Goddell could be a problem though. We dont need him suspended for a season. Or in jail or released etc...

Another very possible outcome.
It's weird how some people can just be like I'll wait and see but i think this could have went down and leave it there. Some of us and we know who they are... here railing that he did it, was complicit, pulled the trigger himself, want him off the team, calling him a thug, blah blah blah and all with absolute certainty. To the point where if you are saying you'll wait and see your not being a "human being" lol its amazing.
hard to fathom that some would readily buy in that they would drive the guy one mile away and leave the car?
