Patriots' Hernandez questioned by police in homicide probe

yeah.....man, there's GOTTA be a way I can blame on this Ahern stuff on Tebow...c'mon, help me out here guys...

Well, I can tell you one thing: Hernandez never had the cops rooting through his personal belongings until his old college friend came onto the scene.

You do the math.

I think its safe to say this goes down as one of if not thee worst off season in the history of the franchise.

I do know the system, and I did make such a response. Your post was ridiculous.

Deus - you never mentioned what your practice was focused on. For all we know, you are a probate attorney or you are an attorney in the Midwest that focuses on International Law, particularly Maritime Law.

Don't drink often and when I do it's at home so continue on with your fantasy that everyone should be intimidated by cops and beg for their mercy. And I didn't get lucky, there was nothing happening that was arrestable, god I wish he would have arrested me for that, free money in the lawsuit that follows.

I did not say beg for mercy or be intimidated . . I was just pointed out to all of the 100% don't talk crowd, that at times it might be smart to converse with the cops and opposed to pulling a taxi driver "you looking at me" . . . what you continue to ignore is the fact that as some times the cops have enough facts to arrest a person, or in your case give you a ticket for speeding, the cop can look the other way and let you go or can give you a ticket or arrest someone for a A&B in a barroom fight like I mentioned in my prior post . . .

And yes you did get lucky, the cop could of given you a speeding . . .

Summer of '13 irony: Only reasons Ahern and Gronk are here are their college histories of bad judgments and bad back.

IS it safe to say that? What if we win it all? Is that all better? No results are in yet chicken little.

The drug scandal was way, way worse. Losing Curtis to the Jets was worse. There's plenty of awful history tucked away a couple decades back.

All lawyers have at least some training in criminal law, starting second year I believe.

If a doctor was concerned about the way my heart sounds, I wouldn't entirely discount his opinion just because cardiology isn't his specialty.

I highly doubt it's one of the worst off-seasons in "history," considering the horrific records that this team has had.

That said, the past week has been challenging

Beset by all manner of woes, the New England Patriots may - 07.28.86 - SI Vault

This doesn't even come close to '86:

This off-season has been emotional, upsetting, disturbing and distracting," Brian Holloway, the New England Patriots All-Pro offensive tackle, was saying last week. "Now, two things can happen. All this can cause us to self-destruct, because the issues are that powerful. Or we can rally with the character that got us so far."

The issues that have whipsawed the defending AFC champions are revelations of failed drug tests, allegations of gambling on the part of a star player and, perhaps most worrisome of all, trust, as in lack of. Patriot players are trying to fight off a deep suspicion of teammates, management and the press.

And last year people were upset at the Summer of Gronk because he drank a little too much and made way too many personal appearances. Ah! The good ole days.

The commish is a nazi and has suspended people simply by being involved with shady situations.

Pretty sure Big Ben was suspended for being involved in a crime he was never charged with.

no, ben was clearly involved. he just wasn't charged.

He may have had a solid upbringing, but he has certainly made some questionable decisions and has had some harder edge to him at times. Not that I am suggesting that should be taken into account here, because it shouldn't.

He's certainly had some problems with maturity issues and making some questionable choices, but obviously nothing like this.

I mean--we all know that he's followed his own rule book at times, not that I think that should "define" him one way or another, but I don't think your comment was incorrect that he hasn't exactly ran with Rhodes scholars etc.

Like what? What are you referring to?

Schooling in the 2nd year? Yes - Criminal Law I and II

Training? It all depends if a law student was determined to go down that path and then maybe they would intern with a prosecutors office.

Either way - it doesn't matter since he brought it up and as usual didn't finish his statements. My guess is that he is a paralegal and this conversation is more focused on hoping that Aaron Hernandez's season is not interrupted because of two individuals that used a vehicle in his name and were a part of an ongoing investigation that hopefully has no more to do with our best wide receiving option when he is healthy.

so what exactly do you practice then?

What exactly I currently practice is none of your business, nor does it matter for the purposes of this discussion. However, I can tell you this: I've discussed legal matters and given a bit of insight into some of what I've done in other threads. Supafly and I had a discussion about some things in one of the Dennard threads for example.

If you want to talk to the police in a criminal case, you go right ahead and do so. I'll take the smarter approach, and I encourage others to do the same.

oh...my...Tebow....

our very own Vinny Patrollie just got banned from J.I. by the biggest hypocrite piece of scum allowed to surf the net...the reprehensible 32Green, who has allowed death threats, rape threats, robbery threats and jokes about our owner's wife's dead body in, shall I say, all kinds of deviant sexual scenarios, all aimed at anybody admitting their Patriot fandom ...I mean this piece of human crud actually has the gall to ban Vinnie when HIS entire fanbase is in full bloodlust mode screaming for Ahern's blood...I'm revolted and disgusted

I understand your all giddy with the possibilities of an issue, and it may come to pass that you're right. But you're jumping to conclusions. Admit it for once.

Vin, I'm not going to sort through Jet fans posts to find out how you were really right all along. You know this. Its much easier to ban you, who I have warned many times before. See ya.

This piece of excrement is a DISGRACE to every single HUMAN being on this planet.....

It doesn't matter, internet credentials don't mean squat. Arguments should be based on their merits. Bad advice is bad advice, I don't care how many degrees you have....

I hear ya - and that is why he should have never brought it up in the first place about being an attorney and what his "advice" would have been for Aaron Hernandez even though he knows of nothing about this case other than what was publicly stated.

What the media reports is a sampling of what is really going on at the Hernandez household today. That is what gets me about this whole thing.
