Gronk: arm injury

rodney said it was very tough for him...6 weeks on his broken forearm

This is what thay get for running up the score... every other team in the league would have rested their starters that late, up by that much
What a load of BS. This isn't Pop Warner and in pro football there is no such thing as "running up the score." Good God, you've brought us back to 2007.

Rodney Harrison just now on NBC : "it took me six weeks to heal from my broken forearm..."

Thankfully we have incredible TE depth this year. Though none can replace Gronk, hopefully we can get by with Fells, Hooman, and Shiancoe. Getting Ahern back would also be a boost and perhaps Ballard is finally ready to go.

Get well soon Gronk!

I'm sure he was chomping at the bit to get back to football in Mid Feb lol

What a disappointment. I'd rather be the 6th seed than lose Gronkowski again. I really hope he heals fast enough to return AND has time to get back in game time shape.

Because that's the other problem. It's not just healing, it's the fact you get out of your game time shape and rhythm.

OT: but has anyone ever seen more coverage of the winning olympic gymnastic team?

That was freaking 6 months ago.

Rodney was a guy with a high pain threshold....

Look for Branch to be back as well as Hernandez....

Lloyd
Welker
Hernandez
Shianco
Edelmen
Ridley
Vareen
Woodhead
Hernandez

Not sure if it's been reported upthread, but Ian Rapoport is reporting Gronk is telling people he'll be out 4 to 6 weeks.

He was 31 when he broke his...Gronk is 23. Big difference.

Welcome back Deion Branch.........

Well, the good news if anything is it is NOT a season-ending injury...he should be back in 4-6 weeks if everything goes well. Its all about getting to the playoffs.

also, If Hernandez can come back(and healthY) I think we can weather the storm...because while you are losing a top target, you also are getting one back.

This. Correct me if I'm wrong though, but doesn't Ballard have no shot of coming back this season? Like he's on the season-ending IR right?

I'm not really that worried about it. Sure it's not great but I don't really think it's going to cost us a game. This team has been pretty good with plugging and playing different guys this year. Either way, the Shiancoe signing looks pretty good now...

Might be time for a Lloyd explosion though.
