TOO MANY Injuries

Hernandez, Gregory and Chung are the major losses.

None of the aforementioned three have been placed on injured reserve. I would call the situation a temporary setback instead of a major loss.

Every team experiences multiple injuries every year. The Patriots are no worse off than anybody else right now. Hernandez, Gregory and Chung are the major losses. The Pats have solid backups for all three.

I would say that Mankins and Connelly were major Losses for the time they have missed so far too and Boldin is pretty significant too. but again I am agreeing with those who say this year isnt that bad so far as most should be coming back. I was speaking more to past years and the year in year out pattern there almost always seem to regularly be double digit guys listed on injury reports and we have set records for games missed by starters in years past at least twice and think 3 times 03,04 and a more recent season too.

we have been more than fortunate with injuries this season. Plenty of teams have lost key players for the entire season whereas we have lost guys for a a few weeks. I mean just look at the Jets and Ravens and you're complaining about the team giving Hernandez an extra week off? Im going to go knock on wood for even posting this.

Ravens jets and steelers are screwed because of injuries. We arnt screwd. Unlees you count dowling as important. He sucks anyways.

This just seems to happen to the Pats, EVERY YEAR. Always seem to be amongst the teams with the most man lost games. I just don't get it. I can't see this team overcoming the mind boggling amount of injuries they had this year. Sure, it's not as bad as the Jets losing Revis and Holmes for the year, but it's just the vast quantity of injuries that will wind up hurting this team from going far this year. Will we EVER have a season where we go somewhat injury free ? Amazing. Hernandez missing games, Vereen missing games, key offensive linemen missing games, secondary banged up (they suck, but we still need bodies), WR banged up. I just find it mind boggling.

What injuries are you talking about?


We still have Brady. Welker. Wilfork. Chandler Jones. Solder. Mayo. Spikes. All of our CBs. Gronkowski hasn't missed time.


Hightower and Hernendez will both be fine after the Bye Week. It isn't like we lost 2 Pro Bowlers like the Ravens.
