This has an opening post with good commentary and information, which we definitely recommend reading.

Jets have scored the most points in an opening game of the season for the first time since SF did it in 2003.

I guess that means they will get shutout this week and lower their scoring frenzy.

jets blow chunks

Despite the fact that the Jets haven’t had a championship since The Supremes were rocking the charts with “Love Child”, their fans somehow feel justified in acting like they are a dynasty. They, therefore, need to be constantly informed of their irrelevance. Heck, they are second-class citizens in their own city. Diana Ross needs to come up with a remake for those green clad doofuses called, “Step Child".
They are a dynasty, a dynasty of abject ineptitude.

Hey at least they don't have * all over their record book.

Really, your going to pull that BS?

Lets see, when was the last time the jets were relevant.....oh never.

After all the crap their team had to take during the off season (and justifiably so). How can you begrudge those long suffering fans a brief moment in the sun. They deserve it, and as painful as it may be, we should allow them this time to say I told you so. Would we be any different in their shoes?

We all know that this isn't going to end well for them. Lets not be so heartless that we can't recognize that they have earned this time and just leave it at that.

We have so much and they have so little. Think about it. 20 years from now Jet fans will be telling their children and grand kids about the glorious playoff win back in 2010 against the hated Pats, as the highlight of their years of Jet fandom and the 2nd biggest win in Jet history.

Neither do the Patriots. Feel free to check the official NFL record books. You'll find that to be true. The Jets, meanwhile, have a franchise record of 360-421-8.

Congrats on that .461 winning percentage. :eat1:

As DI said...Feel free to check the record books and get back to us about that *. We will be waiting

And the Jets don't have Super Bowl appearances all over their record book either. I do think I did see a documentary on the Jets' sole Super Bowl team on Ancient Marvels on the History Channel.

I found it right next to all the Jets' Super Bowl wins in my Mythical NFL Record Book.
