No offense but the real "Baghdad Bob" was a better act!

Some of the most popular words used at TGG, JI and by rats fans in general;

Should have
Would have
Could have
Almost
Maybe
What if...

And the ever popular "Wait until the year after next!"

lol, that's a good way of trying to look past the garbage that's always in front of them. Hopefully it's permanent

The level of play at the QB position for the Jets has been so low over the last several years that Sanchez making a series of competent downfield passes in a preseason game against last year's 27th ranked D garnered this string of gem impressions:

Sanchez looked damn good tonight.

Mark was perfect tonight.

I feel 100 times better about sanchez after tonight.

Sanchez would've been damn near flawless if it wasn't for Hill and Holmes.

Loved what I saw out of him tonight.

Yup, what we saw tonight in Jets' fans minds was the height of NFL quarterback performance. I can't imagine what they'd be saying if Russell Wilson were playing for them. Immediate demands for a guaranteed 10-year contract, or something along those lines.

"But ... but ... but ... I thought Tanny was a genius?"

Rah! Rah! needs to be fitted into a straitjacket and locked in a padded cell.

I like the quote about "if it wasn't for Hill and Holmes ..."

Well, guess what, they're your WRs. So Sanchez will never be perfect.

"Hey Vinny, wait till they use the secret weapon! They'll be awesomer!"
"Duuhh...what secret weapon?"
"You know...the wildcat"
"Ohhhh...the wildcat!"
"Shut up you jerk! It's a secret. You want everybody to know?"
"Oh. Will it make Hunter better?"
"You are a idiot! It's all about Tebow. It's Tebow magic!"
"Wow! Do they have any magic for Sanchez? You know, the starter?"
"Wellll...I don't think so."
"Do they have a secret weapon for him?"
"Ummmmm...noooo."
"Doesn't it kinda suck then?"
" It's like this, when Tebow is at regular QB, he can either pass the ball, run with the ball or hand it off to a running back. BUT, when he's the wildcat QB he can pass the ball, run with the ball or pitch it to a running back. See? Do you get it now?"
"Ya, I get it. Rex Ryan is a idiot."

According to NFLN Wrecks said Coples got winded. He then said he didn't like Coples' "woe is me" attitude when he wasn't pulled with the starters and had to play the whole game. He also said something about his attitude in practices, but the comment from the NFLN team was vague. We'll see what's going on when Wreck's post game presser goes online.

More comedy gold.

New York Jets fail to score touchdown in third consecutive game - ESPN New York

Apparently the SANCHIZE has yet to learn that:
- 11-for-18, 123 yards over 2.5 quarters is not all that good.
Sanchez (11-for-18, 123 yards) made sure to point out that he was pleased with his performance, but the bottom line for a quarterback is getting your team in the end zone -- and he hasn't done that in 15 possessions over three games
But then again, I guess he is just comparing himself to 4-14 Tebow

& - QBs who are LEADERS take the blame; not parcel it out.
( Could ever imagine TB going out after a game and by naming who dropped a ball and not saying 'I could have thrown it better'. )

Afterward, Sanchez pointed to the dropsies as the reason for the offensive problems......
Sanchez came down hard on Hill, noting that great receivers -- he named Holmes and Plaxico Burress -- make plays in the end zone by snaring less-than-perfect passes.

"That's when those guys come alive and make a play," he said. "The good ones come alive and make a play."

With a sly grin, Sanchez said smugly, "The way I see it, we're saving all of our good stuff for the regular season."

. "I thought he kind of got winded a bit. He kind of had a 'woe is me' when we took out the starters. Hey look, you are still a rookie, you've got to play the whole game and then some."
