Most disturbing is that Tebow apparently has two right feet.

Truly.......:youtheman:

Look, I admit I'm way way way over the top...but you have to know one thing... I NEVER started any of this whacked out Jet crap...THEY all did...from the owner on down to the fanbase they practically begged for it...and NOW they own it...these green turds can't lose badly enough to satisfy the rest of the world.

This is utter BS. That role and responsibility lies here, and at time at JI. No one should attempt to usurp our role in this.
Probably Giants fans, anyways they do know of what they speak.......

The Jets are the laughing stock of the NFL

Didn't you know? The Green Beans signed him for his versatility. He not only is the protector in punt formation, he's also backup placekicker. If he injures one foot/ankle, the other is just as good. :singing::singing:

Or this...

Is there a better place to start than the Jets? Oh, and for a spoiler alert, we’re not talking about Tim Tebow right off the bat. So… you might not be interested. But anyway, we’ll talk about the Jets issues at right tackle. What a mess. Wayne Hunter, who the coaches praised all offseason, was benched after two horrific performances in preseason games. Duh. Even he said, “I was waiting for it.” I imagine this makes for a bit of an awkward time for OL coach Dave DeGuglielmo, who said this spring that until they kick him out of the building or “until they shoot me dead in my office, that son of a gun is going to be the starting right tackle and he’s going to play well.”

Like… How can you praise Hunter so publicly and effusively, when you know what he is? That’s not giving him confidence, because he knows what he is, too. He’s a third tackle. Even Hunter, listening to it, had to know it was garbage. I don’t see NFL players responding well — or raising their level of play — with mind games that they know are fake... I asked a high-ranking personnel guy in the league who the Jets could trade for at right tackle. His answer? “No clue.” Me either. There’s no Bryant McKinnie floating around this year, which doesn’t bode well for the Jets. Oh, and one more thing. GM Mike Tannenbaum, who has done an excellent job building the Jets over the past few years, is starting to come under criticism. Guaranteeing Hunter $2.5 million this year doesn’t look good, neither does not targeting a tackle in the draft or free agency. The lack of attention at receiver looks bad, too. Tannenbaum has done so much for the Jets. I wonder if — in NY especially — a tough 2012 could undo it all.

Of course the part about the wonderful job Tannenbaum has done is just the remnants of a young Boston mediots love affair with all things not Belichick. We saw the same effect with Breer who never met an approachable HC or FO he didn't instantly develop a crush on when he went national. Rap seems to be falling under the same spell in Dallas, too.

Nine really random things and whatever else is going on around the NFL

Didn't all the bs start when the Jests went after Tuna during our second SB in Patriots year 4 BB?

LOL! Rex Ryan allowed Santonio Holmes to approve the Jets' new WR coach before they hired him:

Rex Ryan was searching for a new wide receivers coach. Lal, a coaching casualty after the purge in Oakland, was searching for his next opportunity. Ryan and new offensive coordinator Tony Sparano were impressed with Lal, believed to be the first NFL coach of Indian descent, but there was one more person he needed to meet: Santonio Holmes.

In many ways, Holmes, the lightning-rod receiver at the heart of the Jets’ meltdown last season, was looking for a fresh start, too. So Ryan gave both men a simple directive to convene at his house even though he wasn’t going to be there.

Lal, looks like he is a good selection, but how do you continually enable a cancerous WR by rewarding him for bad behavior by allowing him to have a say in who will be his position coach? A guy like Welker may have a say (although I don't know if Belichick would give anyone other than Brady that much power) because he is team first players who put everything on the line for the team. Why would you give a guy who played a big role in the meltdown down the stretch last year that much power?

I'm curious, why do you think he looks like a good selection?
I have not seen a well coached WR group.
