Or this...

Of course the part about the wonderful job Tannenbaum has done is just the remnants of a young Boston mediots love affair with all things not Belichick. We saw the same effect with Breer who never met an approachable HC or FO he didn't instantly develop a crush on when he went national. Rap seems to be falling under the same spell in Dallas, too.

Next they'll send Hunter out to find his own replacement and he'll meet with Tebow for approval. Meanwhile, Sanchez develops a psychotic eating disorder with hot dogs and Sparano is sent offsite for tripping lessons. All this while Wrecks meets with himself to plan a mid season vacation with Samantha McMullen, author of Itchy Toe Island.

I'm curious, why do you think he looks like a good selection?
I have not seen a well coached WR group.

I think their WRs are crap, but Lal seems to be a pretty good position coach. It isn't his fault that Mike Tannebaum gave him a #2 WR as his #1 WR and a bunch of 4s and 5s for the rest of the roster. Lal did help to turn Darius Heyward Bey from a huge bust to a decent receiver last year.

I won't have net access later today but it might be fun to start a thread where everyone predicts the minute of the game clock when the Jets score their 1st TD of the pre season. Should be fun. My take 60 minutes

It must be a legit OFFENSIVE touchdown, not special teams or defense.

When the JETS were looking for a new WR's coach this off season they brought Santurdio Holmes to Rex's house to interview him because it was important that he be someone Santurdio was comfortable with.

You can't make stuff like this up. No one would believe it.

Santonio had a say in hiring Jets’ receivers coach | ProFootballTalk

When the CEO is hiring a new dept. manager and has no idea what that dept. does or how it works, I guess it makes sense to bring in the best employee to help out with the process...

"So, uhhh, I've reviewed your resume, Sanjay, but uhhh... why don't you talk to Santonio over here about your qualifications and see what he thinks... you know, just to see if he confirms the stuff I already thought..."

BTW, in case the members here don't know or haven't heard...this thread...the Jets Suck by season, is becoming quite well known across the country. I recently got a tweet from a cousin out in Seattle that this thread is quickly becoming a cult favorite among NFL junkies and there is NOW a Jets Suck facebook page for fans all over the country...truly magnificent job by all who have participated in this arduous undertaking for what seems like forever...anyway...here's some candy..

This is why I didn't like the title change of the thread. It should always be simply "The Jets Suck". This way links to this thread will continue to work for an eternity. Now that it's dated the title has to change once every year. Perhaps a redirect could be established by Patsfans to this thread for urls that contain the older titles.

Good idea. There certainly is classic gold in those earlier threads.

Has 592 minutes been taken yet? If not, I've got dibs.

That would be with 8 minutes remaining against the Dolphins in Week 8.

I predict the Dolphins turn it over deep in their own territory while running out the clock, then Ferguson recovers a fumble in the end zone 3 plays later for, technically, an offensive TD.

OH......MY......GOD....

read THIS...it's indescribable...I am almost speechless...here's the link

Media has agenda, kills offense, fans buy in, problem, Tebow isn't a QB, game notes! - Jets Insider.com Forums

here's an excerpt from the mind of Geeked Geeked 19...

The Jets depth has played more than the starters to this point, Sanchez and the first team offense moved the ball tonight. Howard looked great in his debut, pass protection was much better, losing two more TE's tonight while already missing Cumberland hurt big time, this should not be underestimated, the TE is huge in Sparano's offense, the Jets were missing their top 3 players, Hunter had to play TE tonight, that hurts in the RZ, and is probably one of the biggest reasons we couldn't punch it in when we were down there tonight. Losing Keller and Baker also probably forced Sparano to make changes with his playcalling, and hold plays back. Again, this should NOT go unnoticed, it was big, and that is why tonight was a GOOD night for the offense, a lot of positives to take from tonight, especially the job of the OL, Howard comes in and shuts down a very prominent player, and overall, the pass protection was VERY good, amazing.

"amazing!!!"...heh heh...somebody tell me I'm awake and actually read this....the Jets best three players didn't play tonight???? Huh???? What about "ELITE!!!"??? I could swear I saw Ceiling-chez in there the entire 1st half...

What a strange life that odd little man is living. I mean, what will he say when God meets him at the pearly gates and asks, "Ed, what did you do with your time on Earth?"

the Jets were missing their top 3 players

do we know for sure this wingnut is posting from this planet????...really...I'm starting to wonder..

Here you go Joker:

Sanchez should have been 77% completion percentage, no turnovers--no running game

Sanchez was good tonite, hit runners in stride, should have been 14/18 with no turnovers, went down the field a few times--looked decisive and in control.

I'm amazed they're not claiming that the team's REAL offense -- the wildcat -- is being kept under wraps until it's unleashed to devastating effect on opposing defenses in the regular season. You know, like Germany's surprise attack on Pearl Harbor.

Rah! Rah! is nothing more than "Baghdad Bob of JI".
