This has an opening post with good commentary and information, which we definitely recommend reading.

And right on cue, here's Rah Rah, hands still chafed after watching the game last night, to declare that the Pats have some serious problems (unlike the Jets, who are playing "vanilla," of course ):

The Pats have been just as bad if not worse than the Jets, and I'm talking about both sides of the ball.

The Pats aren't installing a new offense, yet they looked abysmal in the most important game of the pre-season, the dress rehearsal, in pre-season terms, it's the game that all teams play into the 3rd quarter, game plan a little, make adjustments, and despite still not doing any real game planning, they are doing some things they will do during the regular season.

The Pats are media darlings every year, and the same media wonder if the Pats will lose a game this year, and they looked like COMPLETE crap. That puts a lot of what the Jets have done so far into perspective. The pats shouldn't look as bad, not with all of their supposed weapons and a HOF QB. Alas, they did.

Will the Green Beans score a touchdown tomorrow? Two games so far without crossing the goal line. The suspense is killing me. I wonder if Sparano gets any sleep tonight. He probably has nightmares about Li'l Marky throwing a pick-6 while getting sacked and Tebow fumbling a pitch-out in the wildcat.
.

I wonder too if the Jets will score a TD.

I have a moral question for the forum. My 7 & 9 yr old granddaughters will be visiting me in my Cape Cod cottage. They sleep on day beds in the TV room. Will I be turning them into terrible teenagers by exposing them to a half of Jets football? Thanks for your considered advice.

Even for Ray Ray, that's moronic. The Jets have scored 9 total points in their first two games and are the only team in the entire NFL not to have scored an offensive touchdown to this point.

You could turn it and tell them this is what happens when it all goes wrong

As for old RayRay, he's a moron and that's all there really is to say about him!

Rah!Rah! lives in his own little universe.

I do have to say that I agree with him that in week 2 of the preseason, the Pats second string offense was just as bad as the Jets' first string offense going against the opposing team's #1s. Seriously, let's see how the Jets do tomorrow night before we start comparing the two offenses.

Besides, the Pats are going to get back Welker, Vollmer, Gaffney, and probably Waters (plus Mankins will play more than 13 snaps a game). Other than Holmes, who are the Jets getting back to help their offensive problems.

Heck, the Pats' second stringers led by Mallett scored a TD vs. the Eagles' first stringers (which of course Rah!Rah! refuses to admit since the Eagles took out a handful of starters who got injured before the start of the third quarter).

They get Kerley back too.

As for the Patriots 2nd string v Jets first...the Patriots 2nd string offense looked better than the Jets 1sts have all pre-season.

It would be totally nuts for any NFL team to not score a TD in 3 preseason games. I think it was posted that Tebow won't play this game. It's all on the Dirty Sanchez. Maybe he can find inspiration on Revis Island.

I don't know if you meant it this way, BUT that's about the only way the Jersey jets will finally get in the end zone. Put in Revis on offense but have him play defense. Maybe he can pick 6 Li'l Marky and BAM! Jests touchdown.

The end result will be 6-10 and Mevis insisting on being paid as the best DB in the NFL AND the best WR on the team. The jests will have to give in signing him to $24 mil per year, and put the jests deeper into cap hell.

Sounds completely irrational, making in more than likely.

Yeah, I know, but I thought I would throw Rah!Rah! a bone because I know he lurks on this board.

He was posting in the game thread yesterday as Teapot wasn't he?

He was likely one of about three different Jets trolls posing as Pats fans that posted in that thread.

The only reason I doubt he posted there was because I can get him riled up pretty easily and he didn't take the bait at all. He has an irrational hatred of me. He can't hold back from bashing me. Granted many times he brings my posts to JI to bash me and some of the Jets fans bash him for it.

Wow! We all expect the Rats to be bad this year, but here is a thread from JI which isn't just saying "Wait until Next Year", before the 2012 season has even been played, this one is saying "Wait Until the The Year AFTER Next"...

Your 2014 New York Jets - set to be dangerous - Jets Insider.com Forums

How bad do you have to be to say "wait until the year after next year" when this season hasn't even started! The jests will finally get serious when they try to get Steve Belichick to coach them instead of going into retirement. And they'll fail at that, too.

I think what you saw was the starters AND TEBOW won't play in the 4th preseason game. Thats what is on the NFLN crawl

You're probably right. I can't find any info to support my statement.

Ye Gods! I love this thread.

Check this out, kids!
NFL Rumors: New York Jets to Use CB Antonio Cromartie as a Receiver? : New York Jets
"You have 53 guys on your roster and 45 are active … some games there has to be some crossover,” he said. “Don’t be surprised if Cromartie plays some receiver, that’s something we talked about. [It'll make opposing defenses] have to be ready for those type of things.”

It’s not often that NFL rumors come straight from the horse’s mouth, but with Rex Ryan you never know exactly which end of the horse it's coming from

I wouldn't risk it. If they understand football at all, Green Beans futility can be scary, upsetting stuff. Might shake their faith in the general order of things. Just my opinion. :singing:
