Conversely, how don't you know that you can not allow points but allow yards?

How many less points do you think the Patriots can give up while still allowing near historic yards per game on defense? The teams that allowed less than 300 points last year allowed 272 yds/G, 308 yds/G, 289 yds/G and 286 yds/G. Do you really think we're going to improve our scoring defense while still allowing >100 yds/g more than the top defenses?

You're the only one fixating on yards. You seem to think that everyone but you thinks it's the most important factor, meanwhile most people are simply saying it's ONE OF the important factors.

Again, are you saying that there is no correlation between yards allowed and scoring? Maybe you should consult with BB on this one. It seems to be giving you some trouble.
