#85 pens letter to the Commish.

Such a class act and I for one am happy that Ocho is a Patriot.

Ive become a huge 85 fan. Anybody else?

---------------------------------

Dear Dad,

I know it has been a rough week, so I wanted to reach out. Players dying, players suing and on top of that my peers are just going off on you in the media. It does not help that ESPN has all of a sudden become Medical TV with damn near every brain expert on the planet. This has got to be the worst week ever. Since no one is showing any support, I figured I would be the first. You are in one big ass catch 22 and quite frankly, I am not sure there is any solution. One thing I think can help is killing the NFL PR machine.
Y’all do a darn near perfect job at portraying this game as one played by heroes.
But let’s be real dad. This is a nasty, dirty and violent game with consequences. Sign up or go get a regular job. Watch it or turn off the TV and go fishing with your kids. It is really that simple. I know there are probably legal and financial implications that prevent this blunt depiction, but am not sure if you have a choice. If you don’t say it now, the mounting evidence being revealed publicly will say it for you very soon. In all, I love you and if anyone can lead us out of this mess, it will be you. Oh by the way, I have a deal for you. Am having a rebound year and plan to do a lot of celebrating in the end zone. Can my fine money go to supporting ex-players suffering?
Sincerely,
Chad

This is the most awesome, Pats fan (and any fan)-jerkoff material ever.

I've always <3 <3<3'd Ocho. Just wish I loved him as much on the field as I do off.

The world needs more people like him. Seriously.

Very impressive. I knew he was smart, just not this smart.

Re: #85 pens letter to the Commish.

Hilarious! Chad's a good guy, and I've certainly been rooting for him to make the roster. If he does finally "get it", it will make our receiving corps that much deeper.

Re: #85 pens letter to the Commish.

Chad is a good guy, hope he has a "rebound" season and does a lot of celebrating in the end zone..

Re: #85 pens letter to the Commish.

Ocho is one of those players that plays the game because he loves it!

It just wants to have fun!

Re: #85 pens letter to the Commish.

That's wonderful, until you realize that all those really cool celebrations he plans on doing will cost THE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS 15 YARDS PER EACH TIME.

So, Chad buddy, while scoring these promised TD's this season - - SHUT THE EFF UP until you reach the sidelines. Then you can do all the Lady Ga Ga routines you want with the cheerleaders.

All last year, I was one of his biggest defenders here. It would be nice if he actually gave us some steak with his sizzle.

Not to worry. I don't believe he'll approach " All Those".

Re: #85 pens letter to the Commish.

I think we've largely counted Ocho out for any significant contribution, and reasonably so based on last season. But...this is a guy with a lot of pride as well as talent. I'm sure he's burning to atone for last year and prove his worth. It should be an interesting camp.

Re: #85 pens letter to the Commish.

Chad is the type of guy in your neighborhood you want to shake hands with and hang around and go to the club with since Mr. Hollywood seems like a fun friend.

Chad is also the guy you want to pound your fist upside his head and tell him he sucks balls in today's athletic world and tell him he should have retired his washed up ass when he left Cincy when he had value of more than a Tuna Fish Sandwich.

Since I don't live in Chad's neighborhood,I choose the latter......

Re: #85 pens letter to the Commish.

I'm sure Chad will laugh at the irony of that letter when he gets cut.

Re: #85 pens letter to the Commish.

I'm all for a rebound year. Minus the 15 yard penalty celebrations. I would really like for him to "get it". I think he can still do some awesome things for this team. Just don't think his mind is in the right place anymore. Maybe he'll give us a big "Child Please!" and have a career season.

Re: #85 pens letter to the Commish.

Perhaps he can donate his organs and bone marrow to ex players who are suffering.

Re: #85 pens letter to the Commish.

While I was disappointed in his production and seeming inability to get on the same page as TFB last year, I appreciate his shtick. He's one of the few celebrities I've seen who are genuinely self aware and unafraid of saying what they think regardless of the consequences to their "brand". I hope he manages to make the team and put up some numbers this year.

That's because brand is everything to Chad. He's an entertainer first and a football player second and in the realm of celebrity entertainment there is no such thing as bad publicity, just publicity. He's become fairly irrelevant on the field so he has to do something to maintain the interest of his 3M ADHD Twitter following. This is probably better than his other most recent attempt to gain attention, videotaping live chats as he drives to work on I-95... The unit lunch clips from the Gillette Cafeteria likely having been nipped in the bud by Darth Hoody. Child, please indeed. If he hasn't figured out yet that his first celebratory 15 yarder would also be his last...

Re: #85 pens letter to the Commish.

Belichick seems to me to be too smart of a man to fall for Ocho's shtick and his promises to be a major factor in this offense but somehow he has fooled the great master coach into believing he is going to fire on all cylinders and suddenly be that 1,300 yard Ocho again.

Bill seriously needs to put away the like for this con man and realize that his days are far over in this business.

Chad is now an actor,a comedian,a star on TV Dancing and reality shows and a beloved twitterholic who let's America know online by reporting everytme he takes a crap in the toilet........he is no longer a football player who is relevant and that is what the bottom line is.

Bill, please wakeup and fire this waste,I know you are fond of him,but.......

How do you know this?

Re: #85 pens letter to the Commish.

The Patriots are very lucky to have Chad Johnson on this team. He is a true Ambassador of the NFL and could have gone anywhere, but he chose NE.

Terry Glenn, Randy Moss and now Chad "Ocho" Johnson. HOF Heroes.

Re: #85 pens letter to the Commish.

Sure would be nice to see the same effort on the field.

He's just having fun taunting the Commish. It's a tongue in cheek letter after all

I think it's all friggen hilarious!
