Lovie is a bad coach and is too stubborn to make adjustments.. if Holmgren made adjustments (which i hope he did) than the Seahawks can win this.

Understood but while he got a big contract, he did take a little less. Briggs sounds like he's not planning to do that. We can hope though.

Ermmm, yes, but it doesn't mean we're going to pay $$,$$$,$$$ to Briggs.

The Pats signed Rodney and Colvin because the 02 defense was miserable, they had no choice but to fork over some cash to try to improve it. We aren't in a position where we HAVE to spend money to make our team respectable, so I would be surprised if we forked over a lot for Briggs.

Also, Colvin wanted to be a part of a good team because the Bears weren't in very good shape at the time. Briggs is in a pretty good situation, so it would be tough to get him from them.
