Giants won a shootout, Brady threw 300 yds and 4 TDs, Eli threw 400 yds and 5 TDs. Giants received in OT and Eli drove for the score.

Jerod Mayo had a pick 6 on the first play of the game, woodhead returned a kick for a TD on the first play of the third.

FWIW - I had the original John Madden Football on my late, lamented Commodore 64. After it died I went on a long drought, then got curious and tried '04. "Where did my freeform play design go?" - all my wonderful weird formations (including some naively illegal ones) and patterns, gone (forever?). That was it for me

Every year I think about buying the new game but ultimately it's pretty much the same game with a few tweaks and additional modes with the updated rosters of course.
