Swwwweeeeeeeeetttttt.

Have to travel to London but I can get over that.

I think it is high time we demand that one premier league game per year be played in the US per year in exchange.

Well that has been thrown around!

But it's believed that Liverpool and Roma might be playing in Boston, I think at Fenway this summer!

That's a start. But not quite the same. What is that a preseason game? They aren't even in the same league.

That is like the Bills playing the Toronto Argonauts.

I'm glad our European friends will have a less expensive way to attend a game.

Re: Rams to host Patriots at the International Series, Wembley 2012

Not thrilled, but as long as it isn't a "home" game and they get the bye after it, it won't be a big deal, and the only question will be if London will survive a visit from the Gronk.

Georgia Congressman, Hank Jonson, belives a spike from Gronk could tip over the entire island.

You ought to trying selling that on eBay. I would. Not going to do you any good as a Pats fan.

Did the Brits really boo the Patriots? If so that really lowers my opinion of them.

I don't remember there being a lot of actual booing, people were mostly behind the Bucs with it being their home game and people's general attitude towards the Pats. But there were a lot of other Pats fans there as well.

It wasn't a good game for the neutral, great for Pats fans though, we had a pick six, a screen pass TD and a bomb to Aiken.

What sort of reception do you think the Patriots would get in any city in America outside of New England?

Unfortunately, you are right.

I don't think that folks who live in Patriot Nation understand how negatively most fans in the rest of the country feel about the team. Up until 2001, most people (outside of traditional rival cities like Oakland, Miami and New York) didn't have strong feelings one way or the other about the Pats. From 2002--2007, the Pats were disliked for doing what a team wasn't supposed to do in the Cap and Free Agency era, but they still got a begrudging respect. Since Spygate, the Pats are just plain not liked. People, even those who don't call them things like the "Cheatriots" and "Patsterisks," feel that the team plays by its own rules.

Living in New York, I've just come to accept this and have gotten used to hearing, from otherwise intelligent and reasonable people, i.e., not "haters," things like, "Yeah, Brady's a great Quarterback, but wasn't Belichick cheating during a lot of those wins." I decide on a case by case basis whether it's worth the energy to explain why that statement isn't correct or to just smile and ignore the comment.

I did hear a few 'f**k you Brady' from behind me, but the guy soon shut up!

Brady said it felt more like a home game for them than an away game. there were the odd boos, but when Brady connected with someone like Welker, the place erupted!

Pats were booed because fans generally don't like the Patriots, no matter what country they're from.

I won't have to pay 2 grand to see a Pats game this year, so I love it.

Ditto. Oh and lampshade (WACCOE ;))

There was a squat bald gentlemen wearing an LT chargers jersey booing and generally being a proper pain in the ass during the game.

Instead of telling him to shut the **** up I just spent the afternoon talking to his girlfriend. Told them if they were around later they could come to a party I was going to (His attendance wasn't mandatory). Best way to deal with an oaf. Chat up his girl. they never showed.

thought it was about 60/40 bucs to patriots to be honest.
