Warren played great IMO, kept looking to see who that was. What a luxury to have two injuries and just pick him back up.

The play was Andre Carter, though. You can have your double digit sack year, give me one devastating, individual, nail in the coffin sack, to stuff a TD drive and turn the momentum around. That's a Willie McGinest. Worth a TBC ten spot and more IMO. Give me one or two of them in crucial situations anytime.

best win of the season thats the way the pats won 3 SB's with the defense comeing up with key stops and Brady winning the game

Emotional roller-coaster of a game. I was going from misery to hope to happiness and back again more times than I can count.

Great to see Pats pick up a win after a win like this, it'd be hard to swallow a loss.

We 5-1 going into the bye and should recuperate Mayo, Dowling and couple of other key players. We going to have Hernandez, Haynesworth and company at better health and the Patriots don't lose coming of a bye under BB and TB (I think not sure about that stat).

Let me introduce you to the word "are".

A true Kick Returner like Vereen will be looking to hit the hole at the 20 yardline and be gone. Ridley is looking to run someone over at the 20 yardline. Never thought I would miss Brandon Tate, but if Ridley returns one more kickoff, it will be one too many!

A little love for Brandon Tate! Ocho's lack of productivity and the kicking game demand his return.

Vereen was good as a college returner - not extraordinary for guys who wind up being drafted. He's not a panacea.

The more games that we see with the kickoff nearer the opponent's end zone, the more I am convinced they should just dispense with kickoffs altogether and start every post-score drive at the 20. Kickoffs are dangerous and only rarely result in a big play. More often than not you get penalized and start at the 10 or worse.

I'm still amazed at how some ppl were throwing brady under the bus just before that final drive.

First visit to a game thread here?

Didn't see much of the game, but the last drive looked like Brady that won 3 Superbowls! Calm and did what he had to!

A win is a win! Great to be going into the bye at 5-1!

The Brandon Tate who has the 20th-best KR avg in the league among regular returners, has already fumbled one return, and has zero catches for zero yards? You're pining for that guy?

Statements like this are why you shouldn't do drugs.

Exactly my reaction at the time. As game changing as Willie's sack of Manning. There are garbage time sacks and game changers. Stats are for MLB fans. Making plays for wins are what fuels the Patriot team culture.

I'm not confident in the KO returners after today. Slater fumbled and Ridley isn't the guy. Pats need to address this issue in my opinion.

Yeah, they need the starting KR to get healthy.

- Also won't win too many games with that lack of ball security. Slater, shame on you, you barely touch the ball and you've already had 2 very costly fumbles (Steelers in '08 which pretty much blew that game open when we were very much in it). Hernandez as good as he is sometimes worries the crap out of me.

It looked to me like Aaron's knee was on the ground when the ball came out.

Because he is the best guy they have who understands the Defensive calls and wears the dot. He has been Mayo's understudy for about threes years now. While others are chatting away on twitter and other places, he is in there with Mayo understanding the playbook.
It is unfortunate that he is limited as a player, but it appears he is the best candidate to relay what the coaches want to the rest of the guys out there.

It's really not about limited, it's about hustle, on many plays, you just see him standing there, while the play is going on.

I guess it was bother and I was shocked that there was no challenge after the break.

Obviously Ernie & Co re-ran the video and saw nothing irrefutable. Probably asked Hernandez if he was absolutely certain his knee was down too.

Did you guys see this on his sheet? I will hate for this brother to be the coach of the Jets.

Other than the fact Vereen was a kick returner in college? I am pretty sure Vereen is up to the daunting task of getting the ball out to the 20 yard line.

Matthew Slater was also a kick returner in college, but I certainly do not trust him with the "daunting task" of getting the ball out to the 20 yard line without fumbling.

This game was KILLER! What a nail-biter right up until the last tick. After watching our offense carry the team in the past couple of weeks I wasn't 100% confident in our D being able to contain Dallas for 60 minutes but shame on me Andre Carter's beastly, Spikes had a great game, and when Mayo returns the Pats will be in awesome shape.
Really when a game is on the line my money's on TFB everytime; credit where credit is due Dallas' D is pretty good but that last drive was beautiful. Rob Ryan was right about our Tommy
Perfect timing for the bye, I'm not feeling Ocho, Hernandez is back, and Romo blew a grand opportunity when he failed to see Dez or whoever he is standing in the EZ, alone lol. Tony Romo, the gift that keeps on giving...
And the best part? It's only October-by T-Day the Pats should be cookin' with Crisco-I'M PSYCHED GO PATS:rocker:

I say bring in Mallet.

Brady looks like hot garbage...again.
Glad this guy is banned. Was meaning to alert the mods on him. How do real fans even jump from Hoyer to Mallet with their crazies?

After Hernandez fumble...
Not benched, don't want to see him in uniform anymore period

After a penalty, blaming the coaches for lack of perfection..
And that starts at the top

Brady throws a pick after getting arms hit hard...
Why not try mallet, couldn't be worse sadly

Dallas driving for their field goal.
This is the same team from last year. Say what you will but the problems are definite: Brady has become a front runner. He plays good with a lead but craps himself on any clutch situation now. The offensive coordinator is inconsistent. And the defense can't communicate on the field in order to put whole plays or whole games together.

Them not making the playoffs would be the best thing to happen to this fan base because it would simply be another disappointment.

When we punted to them with less than 4 mins left.
Punt? Belichick has.no balls

I actually put this guy on my ignore list, but took him off today. Reading his post during the game again has provided some needed humor to me for the day. Brady orchestrate that final drive and all he has to say is, I guess Brady still has it.
Some of his post almost sound like thinks you may read from a rival forum.
Get a grip BBDB37. I would have been embarrassed to even show my face here after a performance like that.

The ball was loose before Aaron's knee hit the ground. One of the good/bad things about a DVR is that you can go and replay it during the commercials and crap. It was plain as day. It's also why BB didn't challenge it, imho..
