BM looked like crap last night.

Perhaps. But you have to admit, he looked extremely graceful losing ground while chasing Forte on that TD.

So much for the theory he would be better freelancing in the Bears' system.

Best abused the Bears on that run. Meriweather didn't make the tackle, but he slowed him down, and that prevented the TD. Meriweather didn't look any worse than the rest of the defense out there, and his fellow safety had much more of a rough time than he did.
It was just an all around beat down.
