Late draft picks almost always clear waivers. It would be very rare of an UDFA to not.
I know he was a fan underdog but he's just another guy that wasn't drafted and didnt make it out of camp to 31 other teams, along with some 800 other guys who got cut. Maybe 10 or 20 won't clear waivers. Those aren't good odds.

I hope that is the case. If he clears waivers, I do see him on the PS along with Mr. Hightop Fade.

The Auburn Tigers could use some help on defense. Meriweather would have to take a significant pay cut, though.

They are players who have proven themselves in the past and have now become fantastically wealthy. Is it your impression that expensive free-agent signings are usually worth what they are paid?

Your mentioning the great picks but not the terrible picks Nikolai!!!Brace, Cunningham,Tate, Butler.Spikes needs to show more in order to say he was a decent pick.They have doned alot worse then u think.This is Cunningham's last year to do something.

How can you say a guy who started all season long as a rookie is in his 'last year to do something' the next year.
Its posts like these that devalue your opinion to anyone who reads them.
We get it you have a grudge against the drafting and think you should get hired to do it,because every pick you would have made would have been great. Leave it at that, because when you try to prove it you look stupid.

No. I said that saying corners played terrible in a half where the other team completed 2 passes is ridiculous.
That is not 'defending Butlers play'. It is saying that you are a fool.

If your method of evaluating corners is looking at how many passes the other team completed, I don't think you have any business calling ANYONE a fool. If you had watched the game, you would be able to see quite clearly that the low number of completed passes had far more to do with horrible QB play than good coverage.

I don't think he'll clear waivers. Big TE's are hard to come by. Dolphins need one. I know Yeatman wasn't always consistent, but what rookie is, right off the bat?

Cunningham was drafted with a 3-4 in mind (IMO). Additionally, we are only in year two.

He had a high-ankle sprain last year in camp. That set the kid back a bit.

He was also dinged up a little early in this years camp.

It would have been great to see the kid get 5-10 sacks last year but that does not happen in this defense. Only 2 players in the BB era have had double-digit sacks.( TBC and Vrable).

Need to see how the younger players develop.

The comment was the corners were awful in the second half. I dont have to look to know that has to be an exaggeration when the other team completed 2 passes. Its only common sense.

Hey AndyJohnson, it looks bleak with Cunningham.The guy has zero pass rushing skills.This team needs a DE that can get to the QB consistently.It doesnt have to be a sack but put enough pressure at least.
