Now that was a play I haven't seen before, kick Gronk down to the queen slot and run a cross (Slater) with Gronk hitting the flat.

Slater has easily outplayed Tate this preseason.

Yeah, Slater looks like he could be a depth option at receiver pushing Tate out of the rotation entirely.

I think slater is showing more at WR than tate and could easily edge him out with kickoff meaning less.

Kickoff returns, but with the new rules, Tate hasn't looked great there either.

Those routes were beautifully drawn up as well, I'm loving all of this multiple layered crossing stuff. If O'Brien can develop the ability to think on the fly he may be able to have a very nice season because his drawups are beautiful.
