MNF:Jets at Houston...

I swear...looking at the blubberguts huffing and puffing during the game..he looks like he could pop and stroke out at any moment...for real

That kind of thing only happens to good people. Wrecks is too nasty and conscience-free.

A slothful, profane ****old who gets off farming his wife out to strangers on alt-kinky Internet swinger sites. No wonder he attracts the likes of Cromartie, Plaxico, Scott, Holmes, etc.

Gold star:rocker:for using ****old in your post.

Vladimir Ducasse is one player I like a couple of years in the draft. I'm glad that on e got away. Even more glad he is on the Jets. He was terrible last preseason and he is just as bad this preseason. Dumb as a box of rocks. No offense to the poster here.

Am I the only one who thinks it's lame they basically give these pre-season games the regular broadcast treatment? Same commentating teams, same graphics, same music and even a god damn Monday night countdown?

It kind of cheapens the experience for when the season actually starts, no reason to put on such a big production for these glorified practices. I avoid watching any pre-season game excluding the Pats.

When I hear the Monday Night Football music I want to affiliate it with real games, not the pre-season.

best line so far, postgame, from the Post...

" Sanchez had a great night completing six of seven passes for 42 yards with two sacks..."

Gee...isn't that "great!!!!!"???

extrapolating out 4 quarters it comes to 168 yards and EIGHT sacks.

GREAT NIGHT!!

is there any question that the NY media is totally over the top ridiculous?

Wow, a NYJ preseason game day thread....and some people call me a Jets fan. I think this board may have a little unhealthy obsession with the team down in NJ...kind of like Red Sox fans and the pre-2004 obsession with all things NYY, ...problem is, the NYY have a trophy case full of hardware at the expense of the Red Sox....but the NYJ have NOTHING, other than a playoff win last year...so why the obsession? is fatty Ryan getting into your heads? Maybe you folks really think the NYJ are a better team and you are scared of them??? what gives? you guys can't jump down someone's throat for intimating that the NYJ might be a good team, and they embarrassed the Pats last year in the playoffs, and THEN have a Jets game day thread....pathetic!

We always have game threads for MNF...

Why even provide excuses for him? A jets fan on a patriots forum..lulz. Kind of ironic.

And Jets fans are worse....I can just as easily find Pats news on a Jets forum...i mean everything regarding Patriots is a thread over there.

I should have directed the question to you in the first place. Big fan of HHDL, and that's a great source of inspiration for such difficult questions.

On another note, let's not forget to make T-shirts to commemorate that half century when it happens, and place an ad for them on the two Jet's message boards.

I'll give it a try: It's impossible for a fan of integrity to wish injury on opposing players, so that's a line I would not cross for the sake of karma. The reverse, of course, is true for Green Beans fans: They go to bed every night praying for a career-ending injury to Tom Brady. Hence, karma has been and always will be working against New Jersey when it matters most -- the postseason. So really, you need to do nothing but sit back, relax, and watch the New Jersey Green Beans and their bad karma march another year closer to a half-century without a championship.

He went to high School at Stamford High. Kids that go to stamford high are dumb as a SHlT load of rocks. The reason why I know is because I used to coach the Freshman players. Everyone was so happy that Ducasse went in the 2nd round, but I knew he wasnt that great. I used him as an example not what to do when you are pass blocking!!

Jets better get their offensive act together or I could see the Pats winning both games off them 56-12 .....

Did Snatchy throw a pass other than a slant or a dump off to the RB?

Our D should be very aware that ,so far at least, the Jets have no deep threat or they realize their OL will only give Snatchez enough time to count to two........

I can see the Pats OL not allowing many yds on the ground....and on 3rd and long be aware of their draw.....on Offense, that bootleg pass to the RB worked like a charm...I'm sure that glaring hole on D will be worked on by Rex.....if it isn't fixed, OH MY ;)

Although the Jets continued their red zone woes, Sanchez did complete 6 of 7 passes. Granted, the Texans clearly didn't scheme for their short passing game since the CBs gave their receivers a big cushion. Also, having Joseph out didn't help.

People are reading too much into one preseason game. I was looking for several things and so far they haven't improved them (although you cannot read too much into one game). They haven't improved their red zone woes. They haven't improved their pass rush. Wilkerson didn't impress although Kendrick Ellis impressed more. Overhyped players like Westerman, Kerley, and McKnight didn't live up to the hype. It will be interesting to see over the course of the preseason if these things change.

Sanchez did complete 6 of 7 passes.

But they were short passes, and he can't throw a pass over 15 yards because he will get crushed because of his line!

I dont care if its preseason, regular, post season or a flag football game that contains one 4th string player from the jets. I want them to lose every game they play.

Well, I agree that he cannot survive on these short passes, but with him only playing two series it is too soon to criticize him yet for not being able to do anything else. Yes, his past tells you that he will struggle with longer passes, but we can't blame him for the fact that the Jets came in with a conservative gameplan for the first game.

Not yesterday but last season I recorded and watched the Jets pre-season games. They looked horrible on offense, especially The Sanchise. Given their eventual deep into the playoffs run, I'd caution against ANY conclusions based on pre-season games, especially the 1st, for any team.

Their OL is having problems also...Vlad DuCasse looks like their Offensive version of Gholston :)

Turner injured gives them little proven depth.....

It's only the first preseason game, but the Pats look further along in their TC with their rooks and 2nd stringers than the Jet's first teamers.....

Have to see how Brady & Co do vs Tampa this week....Is TB on the same page as Ocho? Does Fat Albert get some reps in or do they just hold him back until the last preseason game to shake off some rust?
