"Fact of the day: Pats just traded No. 193 to Eagles for No. 194. Their streak of a draft day trade each year since 2000 lives another year."

LOL

I think BB watches NFLN, thinks it's getting boring and does something just to liven it up.

Isn't it crazy after seeing these guys being picked that Brady went 199?

I was just thinking that

Every draft I pay attention to the round 6 guys ... every year there could be a star in there.

The same blue print that has given us some of the worst 3rd down defenses in the league the last few years? What exactly was the defensive blue print last year?

In short form it was to disguise coverages and create opportune turnovers. Belichick was embarrassing dudes with X's and o's in the secondary last year.

I understand your frustration dude, but there wasn't a single good fit at OLB this year that would have solved your issues. Hell, even if DeMarcus Ware was coming out of Troy this season he wouldn't have helped much in 2011.

I agree with u here on your assumption of BB's mindset on the offense....but let's just hope we have the DEFENSE to keep the other teams O in check.....last year we were 28th I believe in total defense. Since we have made only one addition to the D in the CB added (sorry don't see stroud as being overly explosive) ...what we had last year...is what we get this year. Although our defense made huge strides last year...Cunningham is a ?....ninko....banta Cain are your OLBs...and we have NO TRUE PASS RUSHERS!!...that is the primary issue that concerns me...

Yep. The 2003 offense was very average. The won the SB that year because the D was a top 10 all-time SB winning defense.

Just catching up in the midst of an afternoon of yard work. Seems like a good time to pull out this photo again:

It was a sarcastic comment about Ridley as a gunner. Someone used his special teams ability as a gunner to justify the pick in the thread yesterday which I thought was humorous

Oh....ok....I was thinking how is that big dude going to be the gunner? Thanks

We just swapped sixth rounders with the eagles for nothing. We now pick 29th this round. If we don't feel like drafting anymore, just trade the picks into next year. Geez.

Rumor is that BB is a big TV Land guy. Gilligan's Island must be on and he and Casario are having the epic Ginger vs Mary-Ann debate.

Dilfer says "Brian Hoyer is coveted around the league"

Nobody believed me when I said we were going to draft 2 rb's, a TE, and a QB in this draft

...
OT: Sorry I just have to say this...I'm going to go insane if the NFL Network doesn't stop playing the same commercials over and over and over and over and over......................

Agreed. Though it's much better having a commercial that ends with Alyssa Milano instead of David Tyree.

Coveted may be a bit over the top. I do believe that there are a number of GMs that think the kid can start and be a productive Qb in this league.

But coveted??
