The way i remember it the pats made him an offer slightly higher than the colts. He didn't like the way the team treated players before him that hit the FA market so he stuck it to Kraft

That was my take going on. Pats beat the Jets by staying away from Revis and targeting everyone else. Colts just don't have enough weapons to do that.

ANd yet ... Colts still might win.

This game will get out of hand if colts can't find way to stop the run....and they are struggling offensively....

The Pats offered him no guaranteed money. He had no job security here. For NFL players it is all about the guaranteed money.
