People quote and respond to the Mo-Rons. I simply read the posts by the many folks I respect.

You can set it up where the Mo-Rons getting re-quoted don't show up on your board, if you've got Firefox. Just get the Ffvb addon. It's got a lot of nice features.

Luck has nothing to do with it.

Maroney had every opportunity to succeed in NE and failed. Like Chad Jackson. Maybe it will be a wake up call for him to change his ways.

This makes me sad. I still believe Maroney could have been (and still could be) a pro bowl caliber runningback. He was the Patriots most talented back.

This might be something that comes back to haunt the Patriots...either in a game in which he kills the Patriots, or maybe just watching him kill the rest of the league.

I am definitely suprised by this. Guess the BJGE crowd was right, if Maroney was as far ahead as most of us thought he would be here instead of BJGE and a move from 6th to 4th.

Count me in the dancing for joy category. He just wasn't fun to watch--the irritation of seeing the hole in front of him open while Maroney was doing something else besides hitting it.

The irrelevance of Maroney is highlighted by the fact that this trade doesn't even garner a full-titled link on NFL.com and until this bump was the 17th thread on PatsFans the same day trade was announced.

Good riddance and best wishes, he is a good guy, just not a good football player. He may be the answer to a trivia question some day--the biggest 1st round bust of the BB era, although Watson has a case as well.

I noticed this too. I didn't even find out until I just came here. I had NFL network on when working out a few hours ago and I saw a couple headlines of guys going on IR and somebody signing Ogunleye, nothing about this.

i am very surprised both by the swift trade even before he played a down this season and by the fact that all we got was a 4th rounder.

And we had to give up a 6th. So in reality his worth was more like a 6th rounder or whatever you feel would take to move from the 6th to the 4th round.
