Mayock is now listing McCluster as tied for the fifth best running back in the draft.

Here's the list taken from "Path to the Draft" a couple of nights ago.

C. J. Spiller
Ryan Matthews
Jahvid Best
Toby Gerhart
McCluster tied with Joe McKnight

I'd rather have Dorin ****erson in the backfield (not as a TE). Doubt that he'd be much as a KR/PR, but the guy can move well, catch very well, block fairly well and run. Could easily replace Faulk in the 3rd-down role by 2011.

If the Pats want a speedy, tiny returner, Trindon Holliday (4.21 40) should be a free agent. And I'm not sure he's even big enough for the NFL to count him as a full roster spot.

Could be our MJD that we should have had in 2006 instead of Maroney

Getting a second look certainly means they are looking deeper at this kid

****erson is strictly an H-Back/Slot TE who offers zero value as a blocker or a runner or a returner. If he's still avail. at our 4th-round pick, then he becomes a consideration, but not any sooner, even if we re-acquire a 3rd-rounder.

As for McCluster, I would love to draft him at 53, provided that our needs at Pass-Rusher have been met, and that we have also drafted a Wide Receiver who can actually line up Wide.
