He needs some sleep.

I won't say it either.

Dude is lucky he is a Hall of Fame Qb, otherwise he would be in trouble.

Looks like we're gonna win because of the curs....ory manner in which the colts prepare

You sure thats not an Onion article? Why else would they have the caption most cerebral quarterback next to a picture of someone with Downs Syndrome?

as always peter king doing his yrly mvp charge for manning.

I actually think Jay Cutler looks like the DS version of Peyton Manning.

Nope, it's on SI.com. Another interesting thing I came across on SI is that the NFL is banning the "Captian Morgan" stance. The Rum company was going to have a campaign where for every time a player did the stance after a TD, they would donate a certain amount of money to the Grid Iron Great Foundation. So Mr. "No Fun" Goodell decided that the rules should be strict and player not be allowed to "campaign" for a company with TD celebrations, even when the campaign is to donate money to a good Ex-NFL players fund.

Coors or whoever is paying the ad money to the NFL during games probably had a huge amount to do with that idiocy...

If I was an NFL player, I'd say **** it and do it anyways on principle, and I wouldn't be surprised if a few guys do.

Goodell is right for once. If captain Morgan want s to start a publicity campaign and donate (and the league should help those players who got screwed) they can certainly do it.

Allowing players to do commercials after touchdowns is such an awful precedent, I'm surprised the corrupt, clueless commish realized it.

I can imagine the celebrations once Viagra decided to contribute to the veterans fund in exchange for poses.

One of the few times I agree with Goodell. The Captain Morgan "stance" is advertising, pure and simple, no matter the incentive attached to it. Besides, it looks really stupid on the football field.

Downs Syndrome isn't funny.

Fine, I'll say it if you're all going to be babies:

That background seems closer to the Charger powder blue than the Colts blue. Can't believe SI muffed that up

Absolutely. You CANNOT let businesses pay players -- directly or not -- to promote their products on the field during a football game. This one was a no-brainer. (Though the Viagra pose suggested above could do wonders for ratings, I'm sure.)

He's working on a no-hitter in the 6th inning???????

Most cereberal QB? A) Their offense is pretty simple and the majority of his barking at the line of scrimmage is nonsense B) It's hard to look at that goober, or any of the goober Mannings, without thinking of GOB [from Arrested Development] pointing at hsi head & saying "there's nothing on the inside!!"

That is not a flattering picture of Peyton... "most cerrebral QB", with a picture that makes the guy look just completely mentally drained and doesn't comprehend what's going on... It's like a "wtf is going" look.

Yeah, I second that. Peyton manning may do a lot of audibles and such, but once the ball is snapped, theres no question what his WRs are running.
