Spann got the axe. Per PFT:

I'm surprised Moss made it over Crowder.

Also, I guess that list means Chad Jackson made the Broncos.

Surprised that Jackson made it, disappointed that Spann didn't.

I was actually impressed with Jackson a few days ago when I was watching the Broncos though, believe it or not. He laid out his guy out on one of the more vicious run blocks I saw in the preseason. I ended up rewinding my DVR and watching it a few times- surprised the guy didn't stay down. Hahaha, check out Broncos fans' reaction to it:

Vollmer, Edelman and Ninkovich for me. I'm especially happy for Ninkovich, who seems like he came out of nowhere. I'm disappointed O'Callaghan was cut, I wanted to see him have a good career here.

Weird factoid: O'Callaghan slapped me on the back once, and though I'm pretty positive he meant no harm, he nearly took me right out. Buckled my knees, that's for sure. And I'm 6'4"; not a midget or anything.

Take a look at KC come Monday and you might well find O'Callaghan's next NFL stop.

Makes sense. Since they cut McIntosh they have all of... absolutely nobody to play RT. Could be a great career move for O'Callaghan.

Just remember that Levi Jones, Mark Tauscher and now Tony Pashos are all available.. and all are better than O'Callaghan.

Pat Chung was my binky in the draft, but definitely didn't see think BB would pull the trigger on him at #34......

But our first pick making the 53 doesn't really qualify as a binky anymore...

I would like to hear a lot more about ninkovich(sp) as a LB.... I'm stuck out here in the midwest......

Levi has been available and untouched. O'Callaghan will likely find a team before he does.

BJGE, Nunn and Ninkovich were my Binkies as of this past week. Hope Nunn makes the PS, but with Tate in waiting, we're STACKED at WR.

We still could bring back a binkie and put Slater on the IR. Ventrone and Spann would certainly help on special teams.

No doubt OCallahan, among many of our cuts will be an NFL player.
I expect at some point during this season, or next he will be starting for someone.

In name value.
Those going up the hill surpass those sliding down the hill at some point.
How many former starters that are unemployed on 9/5 are as good as they used to be?
How many young players cut on 9/5 go on to good careers?
