some comments on twitter from us fans

"still very upset, pats were not a playoff team in 08, they should not be so arrogant, picks are average at best"

"what a letdown for people who paid for the draft party. glad it wasn't us. one small bit of good news!"

Cody Brown, Lawrence Sidbury, and Paul Kruger are possible 3-4 OLBs still available...

Finally, some sense. Those players are options -- and always have been. It's o.k. to have favorite players...but the draft forum was :deadhorse:
over Barwin for months.

Let's see what happens on day two, as we may still address the DE/OLB position.

trade up a bit for J Gilbert?

dallas passed ?

What's so bad about our draft so far? NT's don't come around everyday and if Chung lives up to what everyone said about him then he's possibly a Rodney project.

Plus we've still got picks. :confused2:

bills traded up to cowboys 2nd rounder..

I'm waiting for the excuses. One prospect in particular was spread like a virus. Maybe some here will think for themselves from now on instead of following leaders...
Yeh, those darned Maualuga fans.

So who is starting at OLB for us?

Bill Belichick will be out of football, before the Pats take any USC defensive player or just usc guy, again.. I like the value for Butler, not sure about Chung, and understand the BC pick.. Also glad that pat white is not a pat, let him go to miami and be a gimmick guy..

Pash rush was the biggest need, and still is I no we have plenty picks but nobodies left lol.

Absolutely nothing wrong. They've addressed three needs, and they still have 5 picks in the next 30 or so picks...

Jesus , you think everyone will just pass for the rest of the draft.

Idiot fan boy.

I love people in here who sit here and WHINE about the draft... They prove just how much they don't understand. And yes, I used to do that also..

That being said, I love the Pats picks so far. Brace is a great addition. As is Butler and Chung

As someone else said, it's at least possible they think they already have the answer.

And, yes, Barwin was my binky (about as much as any player's ever been), and, yes, I'm very upset that he's not going to be a Patriot (yet . . . ), but—despite my utter confusion—IBBIT.

Moore or Kruger next

Agreed.

I really have nothing to complain about. Three picks on defense... stellar.

This is so true. And there are plenty of OLBs available. And some ILBs later.
