Before the merger there were various winless seasons, such as the 1960 Cowboys team that went 0-11-1.

Excuse me, but I think we all know that (1) a defeated season is a defeated season, and 0-14 happened first, and (2) it doesn't mean a thing unless you also lose the Super Bowl.
