It's easy, and only takes a few moments. The New York Football Giants seemed to be able to get 15 yards down the middle of the field anytime they wanted to, especially early on. Why is that? Is it a personnel problem or was it the result of running so-called vanilla schemes?
looked like there was communication problems between Mayo and Spikes on the coverages
Spikes was just laying there getting a BJ.

Why was the middle of the defense so open?
Oh! Oh! I know this one! Because our defense sucks?!
Stay away from pyramid schemes coming from Nigeria Patjew. They really suck.Actually, that's pretty much what I'm asking. I don't really understand schemes very well, so I was wondering if it was scheme or sucking.
Sheesh, the one serious football thread I try to start and look what happens.

Thanks psycho, informative as always. I also remember alot of runs at the LDE.
Teams go through changes and I try not to get caught up thinking about the front 7 now vs. a few years ago. Sometimes it's hard not to.
It's definitely hard, especially if you were not a fan before the glory years of the 2000's. I am willing to bet that the majority of Patriots fans on here and everywhere else became fans "after the fact" so they've never seen a young team have to grow through trial and tribulation.
I held season tickets back in the late 70's til the new stadium was built...I used to go to EVERY game, especially when they were posting 2-14 seasons.Metal benches in pouring rain, lightning, Schaefer beer...you know...the good ol' days...
