I had no problem with your team celebrating on our home-field immediately following an unexpected play-off victory gift. Nor did I take issue with your player's poor imitation of Merriman's laughable dance during it. The Pats and you guys earned and deserved to do both.
Unfortunately or perhaps fortunately depending upon one's perspective, LT, who correctly apologized to Bill B. for his post-game remarks, and the rest of the Bolts, just about all of whom have returned for this season, did take great exception with both and do remember the battery we self-imposed with clarity.
While it remains to be seen whether or not learning from that sad experience will prove to be of benefit in the play-offs this season, rest assured that day will result in the Bolts singular most intense focus and complete play during the regular season come September's Game of the Month.
During it, look for the Bolts to play with the unemotional precision of the Terminator seeking only the satisfaction of walking off your home-field in complete victory and in total silence after it while looking forward to playing your great team again when it really really counts in this season's play-offs.
Methinks the Patsies start 0-2. Close loss at the Jets, Brady fails in a last minute drive to win. Bolts come in to Foxboro the following week and run roughshod over the "historic" Patriot defense. Moss and Stallworth are virtual no shows, and Maroney gets planted in the backfield, misses the following week, as special equipment has to be built to remove him from the new turf.
