Really not sure how you can blame Brady for the delay. This is irritating and I'm disappointed that Brady has chosen to delay the process.
We need the suspension appeals process out of the way so we can move onto the court process.

The reporting on it says the only way an appeal can be heard outside the 10 day window is if both the league and player agree to delay it.
So he obviously had to approve it, some will no doubt believe they are working on a deal but I simply believe it's his lawyer biding his time for him to figure out which way to handle it
I don't think brady gets his suspension reduced at all so I want this in the courts asap
Here's the process I think will happen that I posted on Thursday:
1) the NFL refuses to vacate the suspension
2) law suit filed in federal court to vacate suspension
3) judge vacates suspension since Goodell did not issue it
4) Goodell imposes penalty as per the CBA (which may or may not be the same as existing)
5) Brady appeals penalty including demanding an independent arbitor
6) Goodell names himself arbitor
7) Brady files suit in court for independent arbitor
8) judge agrees that independent arbitor is needed particularly since Goodell is an important witness
9) Arbitration hearing held
10) Brady wins conclusively in arbitration
They haven't even accomplished step 1 yet and you were thinking step 9 may start by tomorrow? Good luck with that!
This type of bs is why I tried to convince one of my sons to become a lawyer.
Per a source with knowledge of the situation, the NFL Players Association interprets the operative language of Article 46 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement to require only that a date for the appeal hearing be set within 10 days after the appeal is filed.
To put this on Brady is utterly moronic.
NFL could have donated all this wasted deflate money spent to date and what will be spent in the future to the Wounded Warriors or similar ... I mean the NFL is constantly pimping our military for their own benefit ... spend the money wisely instead of wasting it on a witch hunt.
This type of BS should be a cautionary tale on becoming a lawyer. Lawyer job dissatisfaction surveys are off the charts; especially for any misguided soul who entered into the profession based on a passion for seeing justice done. This type of bs is why I tried to convince one of my sons to become a lawyer.
It still boggles my mind that a guy like Goodell gets paid that kind of money.I know how the NFL can donate 44 million dollars instead of wasting it every year.
Fire GoodLord-he's-so-effin-stupid-it's-killing-us-dell and hire a ******ed chipmunk for three acorns a day
I don't trust the NFL. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if they're game is to push this decision as long as possible so Brady has served his suspension by the time they lose in court. Then they can exercise their power- even when we lose we win.
