Bad News for Kraft haters

Personally, I think if the Krafts didn't think taking the league to court was a good move, I will trust them on it. I do think that they certainly could have done more, like at least appealing, even if they knew it would've gone nowhere fast, and being more vocal about how this is garbage instead of trying to just brush it aside. Bob really annoys me right now but I don't hate him. He's got too much good will with me for this misstep to ruin. But c'mon, man. Can we please stop with the public praising of the village idiot? It's the worst...

You seriously typed that, read it and still decided to post it?

It was either Kraft bought the team or you'd be typing dumb posts like this on a St. Louis Stallions board.
The idea that it was Kraft or St. Louis is overblown. Orthwein got the highest price to date from Kraft with that ploy. Kraft isn't the only buyer in the world.
While I recognize I am different from most fans moving wouldn't have mattered all that much to me.

Really? I think the nature of a team is intrinsically bound to where it's located. The Patriots in St. Louis aren't the Patriots.

I don't think anyone "hates" Kraft. I certainly do not. He is a very good owner and he has done a world of good for the team. However, each move must be judged on it's own merits. Kraft keeping the team in New England all those years ago is completely irrelevant to Kraft backing a disaster of a commissioner through thick and thin, even has said commissioner makes every attempt to drag his franchise quarterback's name through horse ****.

I no longer live in the market. While I now go to 4-6 games a year I am glad they are here but if they had moved 20 years ago it wouldn't have mattered much to me.
As I said I recognize most fans feel differently because they live in the market.

Kraft apologists conflate strong criticism of issues such as how he handled the camera placement infraction and the PSI science ignorance with hating Kraft and having no respect for the positive things he has done with the franchise and in the community.
It's tragic because someone who has done so well in many areas of ownership is totally and unrepentantly tone deaf to the franchise fandom's disdain of the Commissioner. This blind spot (mixing metaphors here) has enabled H8ers to cite Kraft's cave-in as an implicit agreement by the owner that Brady & BB are cheetahs. (sic)
I don't think Jonathan is a panacea but at Bob's age it's time to hand over the reins.

That's because they can't install a counter argument that has any semblance of logic behind it so they have to toss in a few logical fallacies to try to confuse the matter. There is no confusion. Kraft has done a lot of good things for this franchise. His handling of Spygate and Deflategate is not one of them.

Its 2016, if anyone says something you don't like about something/someone you do like, you are a hater. This way your opinion and reasoning can be dismissed because you hate so can't be reasonable. This board is a haven for that dynamic.

I've been in NY for a long time now, but it will always be key for the Pats and other Boston teams to stay where they are. It's part of their identity, wherever you may go yourself. That's my feeling at least.

Now you gotta hate the kid, too

Jonathan Kraft explains why Patriots didn’t sue NFL over Deflategate

common sense.....nothing more

all the shoulda coulda woulda needs to be parked in a dumpster and people should really move on because your *****ing is pointless and will achieve nothing
Actually I think it's the Kraft's who need to move on. Why they keep publicly addressing their own wishy washy inaction re: deflategate and continue to publicy ball wash Roger Goodell is mystifying.
Patriot fans don't want Kraft to sue. They want Kraft to stand up like a man and defend his own organization, defend his own QB, DEFEND HIS OWN BRAND rather than worrying about his legacy and the shield.
Robert and Jon need to shut up and go sip on their martinis with their cabal of 32 kooks, drunks and degenerates.

Well this thread is sort of the ultimate there, right?

I think this is the latest: Illegal Contact is all worked up that people mad at Kraft are worked up that Illegal Contact was worked up about them being worked up at Kraft. Is that about it?

Well then you'd be moving to LA this year to follow your beloved Stallions. At least it wouldn't be Birmingham.

Overblown. Yeah, OK. Can't even bring yourself to give Kraft credit for keeping the team here.

4 SB titles and 7 appearences>3 lost draft picks.

I get the disappointment in here but not the hate.

Head spinning

Why would I give them credit for keeping the team here when I just said keeping the team here doesn't really matter to me.
As far as the success I believe that is due to belichick not Kraft. That is a very reasonable belief which you are free to disagree with.

See above. Pulling the hate card is silly.

Yes, I definitely disagree with that notion. Bill couldn't be successful if Kraft hadn't hired him away from the Jest and sacrificed a pick in the first place.

It's putting the cart before the horse.

Have you read this thread? The same posters saying they don't "hate" him want him gone.

As the Patriarch he'll still always have a hand in how the organization is run no matter if Jonathan's "running" the franchise or not. Foolish to think otherwise.

The red herring worked like a charm, I see.

He wouldn't have been with the jets I'd Kraft didn't force Parcells out.

Belichick would have been successful anywhere unless the owner got in his way. I dint give Kraft credit for the success because he left football to football people. There are a handful of owners that could have screwed it up but not screwing it up is different than being responsible for it.

What, you don't remember that giant check that Judge Berman awarded to Brady after the ruling?
Well, a cynic would suggest that it was a check north of $2.2 Million, since that is what he would have lost had he been Suspended for four games. Under his new contract, the loss will be around $200 thousand if Berman is overturned and he has to serve it this year.

But, I get the point that you're trying to make and am really just messing with you.:)
