Rex was a lock to stay last season, and so was Idzik . Rex was our head coach for SIX seasons, that just doesn't happen often in the NFL now adays

It's especially rare for a HC that leads his team to a worse record each year. It was all down hill after he took Mangini's team to 4-2 in the playoffs.

If Jets history has shown us anything, it is that a new coach in his 2nd year with the team can possibly get to the playoffs before the team fails the following year.

You gotta love the fact that Rex was RIGHT about the Jets being "far from an embarrassment by the end of the season"

Woody Johnson restored credibility to the organization by FIRING Wreck and Idzik - indeed I'm impressed by how prophetic Ryan was!

That must have been a wonderful 15 minute period for all Jets fans

Because once Woody Johnson opened his mouth to explain the firing they said goodbye to a draft pick as their owner engaged in some of the most blatant tampering ever seen. Not even Roger Goodell with his strong bias in favor of the Jets will be able to overlook that

But of course it just shows that Wrecks or no Wrecks the Jets continue to just be an embarrassment of an organization, one of many reasons why they haven't been to a Super Bowl since before Man walked on the Moon and why they remain tied with the Houston Oilers for Eastern Division titles.

My question is, isn't it spelled "hamper"??? So either they intended for it to be called the "Jets Hamper" but hilariously committed a typo, OR they are thinking the "Jets Hampur" is something else, but yet it still evokes the image of a dirty hamper.

It's really a no win situation, much like the entirety of the franchise's existence.
