The 2014 Edition : Jets continue to suck (what else is new)

Geno doesn't seem to know too much about zones. Time Zone. Red Zone. Only zone he has knowledge of is the Twilight Zone.

I want the Jets to to be good enough for Rex to keep his job. He's a good enough coach to keep them out of the basement but he's a terrible head coach and will always dig his own grave. He could provide years of entertainment. I'm sure he's going to draft a defensive player next year (first round) if he's still around... maybe a linebacker this year (lol)... he's the perfect Jet coach.

I agree with you but, sadly, I think our luck is running out. He won't make it through this year.

I want the Jets to win, say 6-7 games so that they get mediocre picks outside the top 10.
Goodell can assign Booger to ref a couple games for wins.

Now it becomes clear. From the ESPN Jets' blog:

Smith was operating on Pacific time while everybody else was on Eastern time. It's easy to get confused, but that is no excuse. Rex Ryan always keeps the team on Eastern time for West Coast trips, and it's always noted on the team itinerary.

I know Sanchez isn't a great example, but I wonder if that coaching staff could have developed Luck or even Manning. The way that OL pass blocks, I can only assume the next QB looks like Joey Harrington or David Carr.

Judging by the way Sanchez looked playing for Chip Kelly, I'm pretty sure the Jets, as presently constituted, could have ruined Peyton Manning, Tom Brady or Drew Brees.

I got this from another forum. I assume it's accurate. The Jets drive chart:

My DVR said it recorded the SF game but I turned it on and got the Green Beans instead, ugh! I considered watching it to see when Gee No would throw his first pick but after watching one play I couldn't stand any more. I'm surprised it took till the end of the first half!

If he ever loses his playbook I bet his excuse will be "my dog ate my playbook".

Mike Vick tried to make that excuse too, but no one believed him for the obvious reason...

Joe & Evan on the Chargers game:

The Jets are on to 2015.

This headline sums up the Jets 2014 season.

"And then Mike Vick turned up an threw it in the bath with an electric heater".

Jets fans have become total vultures.
First they lusted for KT, but Oakland signed him.
Now they lust for Brian Hoyer when he's a FA next year. As if.
They lament not signing him prior to Cleveland.

That seems awfully silly in this age of self-adjusting smartphones that most people that age will use to keep track of the time.

Is Rex assuming that everyone else is wearing a wristwatch like him and he's sparing them the frustration of adjusting their timepiece? He should spare them from wasting the best years of their lives by releasing them immediately.

I would think he has enough intelligence to see why that would just be a horrible, horrible idea.

Tony sporano buried a ball on his first day as raiders head coach. jesus that is a stupid Jets tradition he picked up.
