Is Houston better than NE?

I think we match up extremely well against the Houston Defense but only due to injuries. That defense is an entirely different unit when Brian Cushing is healthy. Losing him has had a significant impact.

I think our game plan on Offense plays out the same against the Texans as it does against the Bills. Victimize their LBs.

They haven't played that well against the jags and lions, but one could certainly say they are at least as good as NE. Not that they definitely are but if someone said that, I think that would be an opinion which was respectable.

So in short, I don't know.

Glass Half Empty-Sky Is Falling...if that is what you're scared of so much, you should switch to Jet fandom....that way you can ALWAYS prepare for the worst and NEVER be disappointed.

i'm not scared of them losing, i just have to remind myself that the team isn't unbeatable.

break out all those legendary Houston Texans post season highlights...I'll wait......tap...tap...tap...tap..

I haven't watched enough of Houston to have an informed opinion, but I will say that San Fran is scary. Kapernick's rushing ability puts them over the top IMO as far as being the favorites to win the SB

Patriots score 37 per game but 4.5 ppg came off of fumbles, interceptions and punt/kick returns.

32.5 Patriots to 29.7 Texans - less than a field goal difference between the offenses.

The defenses give up less than one point difference. A great match-up.

How can you take out the defensive/special teams TDs for one team but not the other?

If you do it for both it is Patriots: 32.5 vs Texans: 25.9

lol, they're an expansion team. The same could have been said about the panthers in 03

what was the the last Superbowl favorite to win? I's been awhile.

why would that be relevent to how they'll do against each other an in the playoffs in a possible matchup?

That doesn't matter. Football isn't a game of history.

The same Qb who has exactly 2 career starts?

A bit premature, no?

i already have my 24-16 prediction ready.
I am confident that the Patriots can put over 30 on the Texans D. The question is can the D continue their improved performance of late?

I'm worried about their line tipping passes. It will be hard throwing the ball short to welker and gronk without it being tipped.

The patriots simply don't have the receivers to beat them deep.

My guess is that he means JJ Watt.
The guy is a beast but I expect the Pats are smart enough to account for where he is on every play.

I think the Pats will be prepared though.
I imagine they will have ball batting drills or something so that Brady gets used to avoiding linemen trying to knock down his throws.

first off...who says the Pats even face Houston?? you worry warts have a crystal ball out there??? give me the power ball number...

secondly..history does matter..until they get the choke monkey off their back they'll always be considered playoff chokers

third...this is the usual fantasy geek goo goo gaa ga baby puking by the fantasy nerds....oooooh they have this guy on the D line that tips passes...oooh he got all these sacks and tips...oooh this will all definitely happen to the Patriots because they are short and they throw short and they can't run and they...or they...what's that???? a noise outside?????RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!!!"

it's the same CL crybaby crap from before the Jets game...you guys just NEVER EVER stop being negative Nancies...never
