Default Remember No. 44 from the Fins?

He's now on the Jets. He was that white safety who Randy scored two TDs off of in last year's game. Kid, you should have run further.

Jets sign safety Worrell
• June 19, 2008

Now that the front office has been addressed, the Jets have turned their attention back to their roster.

The team announced yesterday it had signed safety Cameron Worrell. Worrell has played five seasons in the NFL. He made seven starts last year with the Dolphins and finished the season with 56 tackles.

The 5-foot-11, 194-pound Worrell was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Bears in 2003. He spent four seasons in Chicago and had 20 tackles, two sacks, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 46 games. He also played in the Bears' loss to the Colts in Super Bowl XLI. Worrell was an all-WAC first-teamer at Fresno State.

Good stuff. I can't wait for Brady to float 60 yard halos over his head to Randy Moss again.

Nice bio, but whoever wrote it left out "And he also was torched all day long by Randy Moss vs the Patriots last year down in Miami".

I don't get why people are so hard on Cameron. He was brought in to be our 5th safety and to contribute on special teams, which he did. When we lost Yeremiah Bell, Renaldo Hill and Travares Tillman, he had to step into a starter's role. He was awful, but he wasn't brought in to play safety.

Ugh, that was brutal. He also had the biggest joke of a tackle attempt on Donte Stallworth on your guys' first touchdown in that game in Miami.

This guy was brought in to be a special team player but even if he does miraculously see the field, no worries bc Kerry Rhodes will make up for his lack of skill
