it is a heavily moderated forum, its ran by the NFL and that is the way they want it. sometimes it can be lame i agree but i wouldn't trade it for most of the forums out there that let trolls run around rampant starting pissing wars back and forth.
I called a spade a spade. It's a shame they don't allow it going the other way. I've seen pleanty of charger fans calling pats fans morons... figured it was ok. Oh well.

It was also in smack shack, and the guy had nothing productive to say... so he got nothing productive in response

There must be a lot of Patriot fans jumping on the Chargers forum. After reading a few threads I was going to jump in and offer my opinion but didn't even get as far as my user name; up popped a message stating that "Sorry, registration has been disabled by the administrator."

There are a few other rules including "Fans of the other team are not welcome in our "game day" threads - it's hard enough to keep the peace between the Charger fans during a game. Go away during the game, come back after the game." and "While we expect to have some criticism of the Chargers, we will not tolerate blatant attacks towards these individuals."

yep its to prevent trolls from signing up, i don't blame any message board admins from doing that. as far as the game day threads go, i don't go anywhere near them myself, fans just complain to no end in them.

if rival fans did post in them it would make it 100x worse for the moderators. i understand why they do it but it is kind of messed up. they should give them at least one chance to keep it civil, oh well.

There's no point in rubbing salt in the wound... Knocking them out is salt enough... If NE wins, I'll be at work Friday the 26th in my Jersey with my 3 x 5 foot flag hung up... and I won't say a word... Nothing will need to be said.
