I'm not a Palmer fan. I think he whines way too much. As far as physical skill Palmer might have more than any current QB but he's arrogant and NEVER gives his opponents credit. It's always some excuse with him. The funny thing is I liked him coming out of college but after watching him not be accountable again and again he lost me.

So I'd take BR over him.

There's only two conclusions for Patriots fans on rookies. They are either a bust or being fitted for their bust in Canton.

Welcome back, did you and Aqua get bounced together? Is he back too?

Well, hes not a "pure" passer really, but I think he is a whole different animal from guys like VY, because he does have good throwing ability and I think he will continue showing improvement being a pocket passer. The mobility is just an added bonus because Ben is not a runner, he just has the ability to run. When he starts running around though he can by time and hit a long completion down field, which is pretty fun to watch in its own right.

I think that he is well on his way to becoming an elite quarterback. What I like about him is that he is tough and seems to be willing to try anything in order to win the game. As far as a comparison to Palmer, he is getting there, nothing wrong with his arm, just seems that Palmer is more poised and disciplined in his approach to conducting the game. I think that Ben is learning the discipline and the poise will come with discipline. I would hope that a coach would never remove the unpredictable, wild-card quality from his game. I like him and I enjoyed watching him in college.

Yeah, Palmer does have great passing ability but he has shown to be pretty erratic and he folds under pressure like a lawn chair. I'm not going to be a major homer and say that I think Ben is way better, but I would never trade Big Ben for him.

He's a football player who plays QB. Not a pure passer, not real heady. Just enough of both plus with a little escapeablilty (sp?). Mostly, Just a competitor. That's why I like him.

Thats what I like so much about him, he will go try and make blocks for his running back and make tackles when the defense gets a turnover. When Joey Porter intercepted him on monday night it was ben who brought him down

Some of the tackles I see him break makes me wonder if he has any relation to houdini. Its so crazy watching him pretty much getting wrapped up by a linemen and ducking out of it.

Have you noticed that lately that he's actually going down more often? Either the coverage has been getting better or they're approaching tackling him differently. I know they're trying to keep him in the pocket.
